I had a chance to play the import over the weekend. A buddy of mine in Chicago has a friend who has it. It was funny because I went to visit him and we were just talking when I got there about my MUSCLE obsession and he was like..."I used to have the Gamecube game." and I was like "USED TO!!! WHERE IS IT?" Apparently he sold it to a buddy at work so he made a phone call and I he dropped the game off.

It is pretty sweet. Not much of a wrestling game but more of a fighting game. Basic controls...Grapple, Jump, Punch, Run and if you hold in your triggers it does your special. Story mode seems pretty sweet. Every charecter has a different story and you unlock charecters after beating it with each of em. You also gain money that lets you but Muscle figures from gumball machines. I only bought a few so I'm not sure what figures are included. Friend told me that there are like 500 things to buy...not sure if these are all figures.

Thats about it. I can't wait for the english version so I know what I am doing.

it is a great game

414 characters to collect from Generation 1 & 2

Rock on! April. That is great news. Thanks Warsman. I'm glad you guys that have played the game are giving it a thumbs up. To tell you the truth, I'd probably buy the game even if people said it was kind of lame.

Ok, actually, now it is saying 06/02/03...but I am pretty positive it should be between 04/14/03-04/30/03.

According to Nintendo.com and ign.com the Ultimate Muscle game for Game Cube, has been pushed back to June. Just thought i would let you all know.

anyhow, i'm still not motivated to get one of the next gen systems. i'm only looking forward to the gameboy sp, and buying "fire pro wrestling advance" again. that game rules. the best 2d wrestler ever. heck, it's better than most 3d wrestlers... and it has the muscle bomb.

cant wait for this game, in a way im kinda glad that it was pushed back. But I aslo want this game real bad. I hope that they do some special promo for reserving this game, like a limited edition Muscle, or something along those lines.

now, with these 414 'figures to buy', are any of them actuall obtainable, or is it all just pictures?
(i'm still thinking about the toy commercial, and seeing all of those kinkishi re-release figs, and thinking some sort of tie in promotion...)
