They've updated the create a character contest on fistful.com. Now they are giving away collectors cases with ALL 43 Hyper versions. By my math, that would include XAR!

You also have to send in an illustration now. Given my mad art skillz, unless the winning character is a stick man, I have no shot.

I noticed that today, just when I was planning to fine-tune my 25-word description this morning. Now I not only have to draw the thing (my art skills would make me easily confused for a kid ), I'd even have to mail it to Australia!

They extended the deadline beyond a month, though, which is somewhat helpful, but I would have liked an easier shot at just the description, like the last two winners here.

that is great news, but i like all of you would take forever to sketch out what i think my charecter would look like! i didn't know there were guidelines for submissions?

Did you guys notice the new poll that asked what new form we'd like to see FOP in? Cartoons, video games, etc.? Maybe the line is doing well enough to warrant this type of expansion....

I'm pretty intrested in this contest, especially since Xar is gonna be part of the prize. Just one thing I'm confussed about is the 25 word thing. Exactly how is it supposed to be? Im thinking you just give a brief discription of the character that you/we made up.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Here's an example, this is the character I won with:

Gorrr- A brutal ape-like humanoid. He prefers using no weapons in battle because he enjoys crushing his enemies with his bare hands.

I sent my entry in yesterday, came up with a pretty strong character, I just hope my lack of artistic ability doesn't kill my chances.

Yeah knux, your basically letting the compettion know your idea, which isnt the best of idea's. Mine wont be nothing like that though, it will be more.....well ill just hold onto the idea to myself for now.
