That's amazing! You could do a line of figures just using that Pokemon fusion thing. What's it made out of? 

 

It's a Shapeways project, so it can be printed in a number of different materials. For full color, there's Full Color Sandstone, which is the same material the Combat Creatures above were printed in. You can also get it in single-color plastics of varying kinds.

I've added Chanfing and shiny Chanfing to the Pokefusions, and I have a half-sized sprued combo set of the first five pokefusion figures (weepinmeleon, chanfing, zuchu, arbduck and catertata) available as well.

hadn't checked in this thread for a while but loving the new additions. The Parasaur was the final straw to make me want to order some of these.

 

Love the color schemes you've used but not a fan of the sandstone material so I'm planning to order in solid white. 

 

Any comments regarding the difference between white acryllic and white strong/flexible material? Obviously the images on the site are renderings so they're just simulating what they think it'll look like.

Shapeways has photographs of the various materials you can check out here. The acyrlic is a slicker material and a warmer white, while WS&F is porous and has more give.

I've got some big news for anyone looking to buy or print through Shapeways.

 

 

Shapeways has added high-definition black Acrylate to its materials for sale, and I've added this material to my listed models. I left it off of items with elaborate sprues given the material requirements, but the Titans Return faces and the majority of the Transformers accessories have been updated accordingly (if I missed a face, kick me a message or tweet).

 

This is a real game changer. I’ve had a chance to handle this new, high-detail plastic and it feels like a rigid ABS plastic. The pieces look and feel like molded plastic and the layers, at least on the print I handled, weren’t noticeable with the naked eye or by touch. Shapeways’ section on this material is here.

 

The quality is as good as Frosted Extreme Detail, their former highest-quality print material, but the pricing structure makes it comparable to the second-tier-from-the-top Frosted Ultra Detail. So if there's something you've had your eye on and you've wanted a really high-detail print, here's your chance.
