I was sorting out the ones I had recently (pics later) and in my opinion there isn't nearly enough love for these excellent figures. I certainly rate them the best of the later (post S3) series.

They remind me of giant Fistful of Aliens.

Anyone here into this series or have any other thoughts to share? Anyone managed to collect a full set?

I have all 16 Figures but only a few spares (like 3) but I will never trade or sell them.

They was hard to find when these was new. I got a 12 pack from Leeds Market that probally ment they was no longer in stores when I got them all the figures where Blue or Pink in it. I still have it in my bed room somewhere the box is slighly damaged though since they was well played with. After geting this I found a 4 Pack which come in boxes like the 12 packs with same background artwork behind the Plastic that holds the figures in. The figures in this one where all Green or Orange. I only saw these Items once each.

So you can collect all 16 Figures just by Geting one 12 pack and one 4 pack.

I also saw a bootleg Digital Watch with molds of this series once but the alien figures was modded so you could attach them to the watch.

If I can find them I will try to photo grapth them.

WHOA!!!

Are you sure these were bootleg/knock-off items?

Are you saying that normal (Series-7) Space Aliens figures could be somehow attached to a knock-off Space Aliens watch?
(If it's a unique item then I call it a "knock-off" instead of a "bootleg".)
Or, are you instead saying that there were bootleg Space Aliens figures, which attached to a knock-off Space Aliens watch?

I've NEVER seen or heard of such a thing before! Very interesting!!

If you can draw, I'd even be interested in seeing a drawing of what these items looked like - especially the watch.

If I rember corectly it was in a small box it might not of had attachable figures with but it did have a figure with a Blue one of the Bald Guy with the upside down face I think. The watch was very plain with a digital screen no where on the box said Monsers in my pocket on it so I think it was a bootleg.

I did see offical watches though for the dinosaur series that came with a few Dinosaur Mimps. I remember they came with a few each saw the one in the egg with one and (I think) The flat turtle like one that was not in the 4 or 12 packs in one.

:( Another previously undocumented MIMP item comes to light!! :o

When you mentioned a turtle-like dinosaur, you were referring to this figure, right?:
http://www.raumhafen.de/cgi-bin/showp.pl?pic=/galerie/rubber_guys/mimp/latedinos&titel=Late%20Monster%20In%20My%20Pocket%20Dinosaurs

And I noticed that you also mentioned the word "egg". It seems as if you might be implying that these dino watches only came inside the MIMP Easter boxes from Britain:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MIMP/photos/album/748006880/pic/1907455628/view?picmode=large&mode=tn&order=ordinal&start=781&dir=asc

These watches I did not see with Easter Eggs what I ment by a egg was 168. Baby Protoceratops Figure and yes that Turtle one is the one I was talking about mine is exactly the same colours as well.

So I've made it a misson to collect every sculpt of this series in all five colours, if possible.

Does anyone know for certain if all 16 sculpts were made in all five colours?

So far, the most varieties I have for any one sculpt is three.

Also, would there be any interest (Darryl/Mark?) in adding Space Aliens to the currently in-progress MIMP figure image archives?

Sure, I have a page set up already for them but only 5 pictures :(
Also I only have a maximum of 3 colours for 4 different figures listed on the site so far.

I do know someone with a large number of Space Aliens. I will see they
can shed any light on figure/colour numbers.

The purpose of my website I hope would be to highlight such questions,
through gathering and documenting specimens. Although at this point
I am receiving mixed messages whether to continue past Series 4!

The later Series I am aware Aikola is concentrating on...

But I am willing to add later sections if there is a demand and contributors
to flll the gaps. I think I only have about 7 Space Alien figures. My interest
has been aroused for the Creepies recently. I am interested to know what
different colours they came in.

At least one figure is available in at least 4 colours, this is #183 Martian Maniac:

Attached File  183_MarManiac.JPG   30.2K   26 downloads

There's at least three more available in 3 colours. This gives me hope that all figures come in all colours.

Also, from the looks of things, it appears the aliens from 4-packs (that's #169, #173, #174 and #177) are less common than those from 12-packs. Including all my duplicates, I only have 7 from 4-packs (an average of 1.75 per sculpt) while I have 58 which came out of 12 packs (4.83 per sculpt).

Additionally, I have only seen any of the 4-pack sculpts in the same two colours.

I hope nobody minds, but I took the liberty of assigning names to the colours for these, I think I got the shades right on the RGB.

Vermilion [Red-Orange]
Chartreuse [Yellow-Green]
Rose
Bright Green
Azure

And this is what I currently have, collection wise:

'On Sale' or 'For Sale'. It's really the same thing! The word, 'Sale' means YOU CAN BUY IT,
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.

This is what I have so far. I only know of one more that is certain to exist, and that is the green #175 Laser Blaster, whose space I have helpfully marked with an X. Other than that, this is the sum total of what I know to be out there.

If anyone has anything that's not in my collection, please let me know if it exists, even if you're not willing to sell or trade yours. Thanksy :angry2:

Attached File  Aliens01.JPG   69.99K   52 downloads

The reason I think that this might be ALL the Space Aliens that exist, apart from the fact I haven't seen any other colours, is because there's a kind of pattern and symmetry here.

4 figures exist in Pink & Yellow
4 figures exist in Pink, Orange & Green
4 figures exist in Yellow, Green & Blue
4 figures exist in Pink, Orange, Green & Blue

How this breaks down:

12 figures exist in Pink
8 figures exist in Yellow
8 figures exist in Orange
12 figures exist in Green
8 figures exist in Blue

So if anything else turns up, it's going to break what seems to be a fairly reasonable pattern!

And here, in picture form, because I like patterns:
