Great!!!

Looks like the dices even have some glow in them similar to the orb idea of the LB maybe!?
They keep comming with new figs and they wont fail to fulfill the expectations.

Is there anything clear yet about the series they might come in or is it just one release?

Just hope their size is similar to the BB.

100 figs probably mean each is available in fire, wood, and water plus maybe a sunburst lion?

100................. :wallbash:

Well at least we´ve one advantage this time which is the fact that they don´t have an additional vintage value over them. I expect these to go for only a couple hundreds of Yen max. as with most of these lines being released, unless they focus on the collectors directly............. but hopefully the´ll stick to the Japanese kids as their main target :)

from my friend over there he mentioned from what he read they are going for about 2.50$ USD for the capsule ones so import markup etc still should not be that bad and still be manageable (I hope).

I think I see a turtle with a knights helm on in the back! >_<

edit: on closer inspection it looks like a generals hat as he has the military shoulder garnish

A frog? A turtle? I was just looking at the vintage frog (toad) and tortoise today as I was putting them on a shelf and thinking about how cool it would be if they made similar figs in the new line. Now I am both happy and worried! I only have so much to throw at this line so the prospect of 100 figures has me a little concerned. But man, these things are too cool to pass up.
I hate to bring this up since the topic has been beaten to death, but while I have been extremely critical of the DST "Battle Beasts" since the beginning, I now feel a great deal of pity for them. They don't stand a chance against these... Some of the worst timing in toy history in my opinion.

I am pretty excited to start collecting this line. While I still have most of my childhood Battle Beasts, I have not actively collected them for years. These guys are a game changer.

PS- I'm hoping over 100 unique sculpts. Remember the vintage line was 112 + extras. It's totally possible.

100+ sculpts would be great. If we take the vintage line as a ref then it had 112 unique sculpts in a lifespan of about 1 big year (mid 87 through near end 88). So 100 sculpts scheduled for the first year of release, said Sept 2012 - end 2013 is possible. Now I hope that it will be a success in Japan and that lot of childrens will buy them so we will have more in 2014. Just imagine hundreds and hundreds of them. Beast Saga gotta catch'em all!
