Hello.

I've seen plenty of Chief Karf on eBay, but no Chief Krusha, which I think is a bit funny being as though Karf was replaced by Krusha. Anyway, does anyone have a spare Krusha I can buy?

Also, when I was a kid collecting these, there was a rumour going round that there were a very very very rare elusive 'king' boglin out there somewhere if you got lucky. That was the most amazing prospect, but I guess it was not true :( Perhaps, with Krusha now in charge of the Tough Guys, Karf should be elevated to king.

Anyway, one other question, of you lot who have or are aiming for a complete set, are any of you intending to go for every colour of every character or is simply one of each character enough?

With the exception of the Kellogg's figures all the later additions to the line are a bit less common. Bear in mind that some sculpts were in production for three years, while the '94 sculpts were only available at the tail end of the line as the popularity was petering out. I've only got the one Krusha so far but if I come across any same colour doubles I'll give you a shout.

I'm going for all the colours eventually. Nearly got all the sculpts so I'll slow down after that. Got a couple of Krusha's but it took me ages to find him. The king was never made as far as I know. Would be great if he was...

Just passed the 250 mark last week, and still a little way off having all sculpts. I noticed this week that the same sculpts from the Cool Dudes have different numbers embossed on their undersides. Assuming that every sculpt comes in 1-9 that's potentially an extra 400odd variations. I think I can afford to ignore those little numbers.

I am going for the full set. I do have all sculpts at least, but only quite recently. The last sculpt I needed was Dimm (the one with the spear through his nose). Some sculpts I must have in 10 colours or more

It looks like there's more of us than I thought actively collecting these at the moment. We should get a Boglin trade thread going, see if we can't help each other out a bit.

So you guys really do mean you're going for every sculpt (character??) in every colour? So like 10 or so of each Boglin? Wow, that's gonna be LOADS. Will be some impressive collections that's for sure.

I'm on a lower scale. I'm just aiming to get complete tribes with one each of the members, with the exception of the chiefs who I have in gold, silver and a regular colour. Doing this for sentimental reasons and so with the original 6 tribes I want to stick to the original duller colours.

I had calculated around 1200...but I'm guessing I'm wrong on that one.

Yes I am hoping to collect every sculpt in every colour, someday :)

Where did you find out how many colours there are for the different sculpts?

It's mathematics. We know when sculpts were introduced, which wave they were retired in, and what colours each wave can be found in. Aikola worked it out using that information.

Is there definitely no 'king' boglin? On a leaflet I have it mentions the king boglin and shows an image of a boglin holding an upside down trident.

I am still working on my "lesser" set too. I am collecting all the colors I find but my priority is one of each sculpt. I really wish they were easier to come by in the US.

Thank you - I have found reference to this at last! I remembered it so clearly, I even thought I may have one (A king boglin, or a leaflet, i don't, well not downstairs) but i was scared to bring it up for fear of misleading the collector community or something, i used to keep the leaflet in my old Little Rubber Guys box, along with identification leaflets for them, MIMP, P.E.T Aliens and so on, the box looked like a giant house (you don't need to know this, but there's something charming about house-shaped boxes, the lid was a roof and it printed windows *drifts away*) - can you, at some point mate, scan this leaflet so i can see it again and, more importantly, have a record of the design for the king please?

Damn mate I wish I had seen this a few weeks ago, that leaflet is boxed up and in the back of the attic now behind a load of other stuff. I am fairly sure though that it is a common leaflet and if you look on ebay regularly you will come across one. There probably never was a king boglin made though, it was probably just a bit of backstory that someone decided to stick on there.

Ha, don't worry having just sorted out my loft, I get it - oooh boy do i get it.

I shall have to look out for leaflets...you're right there probably wasn't a real one, but i'd still like to have the picture of the design just...because...I have no good reason, I just like to have reference for everything lol.
