As many FOA collectors know, the italian toy-line based on Fistful of Aliens figures (Exogini terza serie) has some differences between the original one: first of all, in the italian line space pods and crystallites were not included; secondly italian figures and american ones differ from the "power range", because US aliens are more powerful than the italians. It's important to notice that italian aliens can be recognised by the thicker character used to write the power under the foot (the US one is "slim").

Another very big difference is that nine american mutants, originally created as a mix of two spieces, have been "converted" into normal aliens by the italian reseller, in order we have:

BLUSPEWS

Coriolano - Psychonator
Rocker - The Psycho Rocker
Dottor Acido - Doc. Acidonian

DREDROCKS

Spaccaossi - The Shredder
Gigante - Spinal Mutosis
Terror - Maggatosis

GANGREENS

Ingordo - Slurpmaniac
Vendicatore - Biospewer
Tuono - Sgt. Spewspittle

Furthermore five of these aliens have some variations due to some painting errors/mistakes:
-Spaccaossi can have DARK PURPLE or BRIGHT PURPLE hands (two types)

-Gigante can have DARK PURPLE or BRIGHT PURPLE "body" with grey eyes or BRIGHT PURPLE "body" and LIME eyes (three types)

-Vendicatore can have DARK PURPLE or BRIGHT PURPLE hands with black eyes or BRIGHT PURPLE hands and LIME eyes (three types)

-Coriolano can have PURPLE or RED chest (two types)

-Rocker can have PURPLE or RED face (two types)

To recap: italian line has no mutants, crystallites or pods but it has three more aliens for every race, which can have some variants (two or three) for a total of 16 new aliens.
I hope this post can be useful to anyone who likes and collects FOA and Exogini figures!

Important notice:
italian repainted figures actually produced by GIG company differ from the ones that were originally represented in the booklet.
In the original project the mutants were supposed to be repainted on the other half with the chosen colour being almost monochromatic, instead they always sold the ones you can see in the first part of the thread.
I personally never seen a single mutant repainted in those colours, so I think they might have been just a single try never sold to public.
