Are they still going to be made by playmates? I hope not because almost every figures weapons were cheap flimsy pieces of crap that always busted or never stayed in their hands etc, etc.

Yup, they will be Playmates. Hopefully, Playmates learned from the first figures and will make the new weapons a bit more sturdy. Strangely enough, I've seen a couple of pictures of the new TMNT toys, but I haven't seen any of the turtles with weapons yet.Are they still going to be made by playmates? I hope not because almost every figures weapons were cheap flimsy pieces of crap that always busted or never stayed in their hands etc, etc.

I wasn't a huge TMNT fan, but I did like them. The new Splinter and vehicles look better then the old ones. What about those turtles? They look like they are the same as before. I guess there really isn't too much you can do with a basic TMNT.

I have a set of the old Turtles, and, although there are definite differences, I agree that the new ones have a very similar look and feel to the older versions. I would have liked to see more of a shift towards the designs of the Turtles in the old Mirage comics, but oh well...What about those turtles? They look like they are the same as before. I guess there really isn't too much you can do with a basic TMNT.

Woah! Shredder is super cool. I was pretty dissapointed as a kid, with the original shredder fig. I wonder if the foot soldiers will still be robots...

I checked out the new foot solider, whoa! That was a huge step up. They have a sort-of mean ninga look to them. They don't look so goofy and bumbling.

And the Shredder, too. Maybe make is blades vac-metallicized (sp?) so that they're shiny.
