Most of the time, it's the chase figures that go for around 50-80 dollars. This is a regular figure which should sell for no more than 8 bucks w/shipping. People are so out for themselves it's sick

Damn, I did not think it would be selling for around $8. I could even understand if the guy was selling it for around $20, but $49!!! This guy needs his balls chopped off!

or maybe no one will bid and he will have wasted, what is it to list something starting at 50 bucks? ebay charges you like 1 dollar or 3 or soemthing? also, he wont get a single bid and he will be all excited and watching it the whole time and not get one bid. listen kids, start your auctions low, list them in the right category, give them a name that both stands out AND defines the item well, and list the auction here if it is muscle, you will get whatever the thing is worth, maybe a bit more, stop trying to rop people off (i know none of you here does it, but these are the general ideas of making money on ebay without ripping off innocent people)

Actually, I'm quite pleased that this guy is so completely devoid of common sense as to put the first bid at $49. There's no way anybody's going to pay that much for this thing, and he'll be out the $1 or so for listing the auction. Hell, there are reissue Starscreams going for $15! What kind of a moron would think that someone would pay $50 for this thing?! HA HA!!!

Anyway, keep in mind that the Transformers PVC sellers KNOW that we can't get these things over here, so they can charge pretty much whatever they want. As usual, my advice for those who want to combat scum-sucking toy dealers/scalpers (which there is little difference, in my opinion) is to NOT BUY FROM THEM. EVER. Sure they have a monopoly, but what good is a monopoly of stuff that they can't sell?

I'm sure you guys love these PVCs, but you have to ask yourself if they're really worth the trouble. I mean, the prices for all the Transformers PVCs are ridiculous, and the Transformers fan base, for some reason, readily pays the inflated prices. $8 seems to be the minimum... and they're only two inches tall or something like that, right? They look like they're sold in gumball machines, for God's sake!

I say, just wait a bit for things to calm down and they'll be much cheaper. It's better than giving in, and paying outlandish prices, thereby supporting the toy dealers.

People get too obsessed with these things. To anyone who feels that they do not have a choice in toy buying of this scale, I recommend a book called
"Your Money or Your Life". Completely changed my viewpoint.
