I don't have an actual picture all I can provide is a sketch and a description sorry. I am trying hard to locate a toy I had back in the 80's.
they were deformation transforming cars that turned into a robot a series of rev up push cars that worked on inertia momentum that was about 8 inches long that had a wide button on the front. they would take off and when they hit something the front button got pushed and they would pop up and transform into a robot. they would then change direction as the wheels of the vehicle became the robot's feet and touched together reversing the movement so it would return to the person that pushed it.
i don't remember the brand, title, or company that sold them I just know it wasn't a transformer or hotwheels product it was something like tonka or kenner or another name but I don't remember. I know there are cheap versions that do this and a remote control version that doesn't have the button on the market today but they aren't the same thing and aren't nearly as cool as the versions I use to have because it came back to you after it transformed.
imagine Transformers Battlechargers but they were not pull back and release they were inertia and they didn't auto transformed the button on the front had to be pressed and when the button was pressed the robot faced you and came back.
