All I can say is Prince of Tennis has to be mundo popular in Japan to get that sort of attention, because I've never heard about it, and it just seems like the dullest thing to put into a comic book form. What's next? Hyazaki: Golf Master?

Titles like Prince Of Tennis are reasons why I'm losing faith in Jump Comics. It's boring, it's cliched almost every sports manga from the past 30+ years and the characters are downright ugly.

If the game turns out to be a masterpeice of all things Jump...I could forgive them for not including Kinnikuman, but that depends if they release this game in America.

I agree with you guys about Prince of Tennis and Yu-Gi-Oh. Also why D.Gray-Man and Busou Renkin? They're both Bleach ripoffs.

They should have Kinnikuman and Hajime no Ippo characters. Hajime no Ippo is a sports manga but its about boxing so it fits better than tennis.

And Tennis is a boring Sport to watch, as well... and in comic book form, where nothing actually moves?

What is the dude's attack? Flurry of Tennis Balls? Does he whack someone off the head with his rackett? We have a dude that can shoot fire out of his hands.... how's that effective?

I mean, as much as I hate Yu-Gi-oh's Lisa Simpson hair cut wearing arse, at least he attacks with card monsters...

- Son Goku has the Genki-Dama technique (Spirit Bomb in dub)
- Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho as a Help character.
- "Friendship, Effort, Victory" [Jump's motto I think] A Tag Team Move Option to be used from the card deck. One Shown was Goku's Kamehameha and Naruto's Ransengan (shown later in the series if you're reading the Viz books or whatever) combined as a Super Tag Move.
If this is possible, then there could be actual tag moves made up with the right characters. Goku and Gohan's Super Kamehameha, Sanji and Zoro's, Naruto and Sasuke, etc ...

Kuwabara's not a fighter? Okay, now I'm mad. Sasuke's one thing, he wouldn't realistically do too well against a lot of these characters (not that Yugi would), but Kuwabara is Yusuke's partner; stupid yes, but undeniably strong. And they have the audacity to dub him support? Friggity @55 h0l32!

Death Note characters are support. Dunno what L will do, but my guess is that Light and Ryuuk would use the Death Note and in 40 seconds the opponent would die or something like that.
Similar to Freiza's move in Supersonic Warriors; Even if his Death Ball didn't hit, as it goes to the ground, the opponent will have 20-40 seconds to live unless beaten before then, beat Frieza or either one swaps with their partners.

I also wonder about the tag moves. All sword weilders (Yoh, Zoro, Kenshin, Ichigo, etc.) might have a sword combo, or Energy blasters use one big one, etc.

Extra: From what I've read, in Dragonball Super Saiyan Goku is playable and Kame-Sen'en and Kami-Sama are Help characters. Cool. Now all we need is Super Saiyan Vegeta and Vegitto (maybe a tag thing. Potara Earing Fusion.).
And Tsunande (Later in Naruto) is a Help character.

Man reading this I hope Suguru or somebody from Kinnikuman makes it in. I want to Kinnikubuster Goku so many times it's crazy. Not to mention if it's included the dreaded gas attack.

Still with the cast and know some of them, and hating on one set (the dbz guys) I'm looking forward to this, but yeah I doubt it would come state side. Import would be the way to go. I need a ds though if thats what its gonna be on.

Hee hee now I wonder how many of you guys are gonna beat the massive beatings on that the DBZ characters?

The three blue buttons are video clips of the game to see how it looks like. If you check what series are in it, 5 of them aren't named (unlockable or somethin) and there are 150 characters (playable, support and help in total).

just to throw my 2 cents in about the resent Jojo adition, it seems they also added 2 Jojo themed stages (judging from the picture), one seems to be Dio's fortress and the other is a Steel Ball Run stage (where you see all the horses racing). Well, still MIA are Kinnikuman and Saint Seiya, witch im pretty sure they will be in the game after it's release, since the game bost 150(+/-) characters. I will personaly pre-order the game and buy me a DS to play it when I reseve it and give you all the final 411 on it.

BTW, the video on nintedo's offical site gives alot of info as to how the game stucture will be and it seems to be very intresting:

you can buy character cards and fuse them in battle to help you (Thus, you see the bottom screen with all the manga pannels), you can arange them in order that you need, thus, you will have a "deck" to play it with (I forgot the term they put in)

BTW, dont rely on that Geocities site that people have posted, it may have some true info, but at this point, anything could happend and all the info can and will change.

I was wrong about what I wrote about the JoJo characters. They (Joseph Joestar, Abdul, Polnareff, and now Kakyoin) are part of Jotaro's attacks.

Kon (Bleach) is a part of Ichigo's support attack but he isn't a support character. Same thing with Kanda Yuu (D.Gray-Man) being a part of Allen walker's support attack.

C'mon Kinnikuman! The one thing that'll make this game perfect would be being able to layout Ichigo with the Kinnikubuster!

again, I wount take this as word of god just yet. I think Nintendo will keep us all in suspence untill the game is release, by then, we'll have the final confermation of who's in it.

It's also to note that in VJump (the Video game Shonen Jump book) will be having designs printed to unlock the hidden characters (like Kakashi from Naruto), so it's going to be intresting to see that in action as well.

No Kinnikuman, but Arale...that's pretty cool, I guess.

It is kind of a shock Muscle isn't on there at all, since it is a Fighting series, and would be perect. Also kinda odd they don't have anything from Saint Seya, though.

well, despite the lack of Seiya and Kinnikuman in the game (witch more and more, It seem that way), im still getting this game because of Jojo and Bleach. 2 out of 4 prediticions is good, right? I mean, if they can pull a game like this off, emagen the sequel they can pull... o_o
