Leave it to Disney to create a 20 minute movie with its own toyline!

I just saw the action figures for Toy Story That Time Forgot.

You can watch the entire 20 minute movie on youtube.

Some of the main characters meet a really cool group of toys at Bonnie's friend's house: The Battlesaurs.

They remind me of Extreme Dinosaurs, Battle Beasts, Papo figures and about a dozen other things.

FOUR Battlesaurs have been made into action figures.  5 inch scale. Target has two of them already.

If you watch the short, you'll see a lot of other cool characters that would make awesome figures.

If Mattel would make these in the Toy Story 2-inch "Buddy Pack" line, that would be super.

If you watch it, I'm curious as to what specific toys/characters each of the Battlesaurs remind you of...

The Cleric reminds me of the Skeksis from The Dark Crystal.

The short was pretty good. I liked the Halloween one a bit more. I was thinking the same about Dark Crystal looking Mage guy. Haven't seen any of these out and about.

I just realized that they made battle gear versions of Buzz and Woody and they do not even gear up in the short.

Toy Story of Terror is pretty good.  I know they made a toy for Combat Carl (GI Joe analogue).... and PEZ made the exact PEZ cat that is in the short.

Overall, it seem to me that the Toy Story franchise could/should be more toyetic than it actually is.

Transitron would have been one badass toy.

There's been a clear product placement for LEGO in the last two shorts.

Toy Story 4 in 2017! Woo-hoo!

I picked up that green dino with the spear a few weeks ago but he doesn’t stand well. Might have to bend the tail a bit.
