OK, so i have posted over at OT forums 4 designs that i have made for the OMFG! series 3, however, im only going to be submiting 1 of them, maybe 2 if my Thumb Wrestler gets enough recognition

I like Mudstone the best, out of those four. I think the sculpt would fit the namesake a little better, if you incorporated texture elements from the Gloop sketch, and I'd also suggest maybe bringing that left arm up off of the ground, for playability factor.

I like the left arm being on the ground - something a little different. I do agree with ironmask that adding some 'gloop' would be a nice touch to make it look like a mudslide on the rocks. I'll have to post a pic of my first S3 entry at some point for some feedback - he's called Screw-U, but I'm having trouble deciding on the right facial features to use! :wallbash:

Mudstone is cool. The thumb wrestler guy reminds me too much of Thumb Thumb from Spy Kids.

Instead of a mushroom, why not have dirt/mud piled on Mudstone's shoulder. Then have the mud sliding down his body in several places and caking in others?

some good suggestions going around about Mudstone, however i quite like him the way he is,

im not saying your suggestions suck or anything, its just that i have grown attached to this particular design and im affraid of him turning out worse than he is, its exactly how i pictured him to be before i finished the sketch

on another note,, who else is doing designs for S3???
anyone brave enough to post their sketches here???

go on,,,,,,,, you know you want to :acute:

I like the thumb wrestler myself.

I was going to submit for series 2, but never got around to making anything. Maybe S3, we'll see.

Here are my first 2 ventures into the OMFG world - I've posted them over at OT and am waiting for some feedback on where to go next

This is Screw-U - I'm unsure on which hands I prefer

Great designs, both from Bizrebellion and BigBurty. I like Mudstone, but he is not my favorite one. We are beginning to see a type of motif with OMFG where there's a big unique body and then spindly arms and legs coming out of it. The figures like GrimGourd, Phantom Outhouse, and Cuddlehard are like this, and I think Mudstone is too. Out of Bizrebellion's designs I would like to see Gloop, the serpent creature, and the thumb guy made before Mudstone. Mudstone would be a good design to make later, but right now it seems to similar in shape to those other figures I mentioned.

Out of BigBurty's two designs I like Screw-U the best.

I like the thumb guy the most. I never knew of that Thumb Thumb figure from spy kids but that is awesome! But the mini version would be even cooler.

Nope, he's fine there. Spelt is an accepted alternative past tense for spell.

It's also apparently "hearty wheat".

I've re-sketched Screw-U, taking onboard the feedback from the first post. I've given him slightly bigger hands and feet and made his body slightly more muscular  If anybody is willing to have a go at sculpting him for me then PM me. I'm UK so a UK sculptor would be ideal.
