I am trying to help a friend find out what the name of this toy is. The markings are Bandai made in Japan 1985. Blue/silver color with A29 and it appears to be a vehicle of some sorts. Thanks, hope the pic helps.Attached File  790f57e6bce911e1a9f71231382044a1_7.jpg   96.02K   67 downloads

I think you have something from the "Legions of Power" toy line there.

I think you are right, but its very hard to find them online, not popular toys is what I'm seeing. but I remember playing with them too.

I had a few sets and loved them - been idly looking at eBay sets but they usually sell for more than I can spend :sad4:
As I recall, the US-released Legions of Power were sold by Tonka; I wonder if they were originally made by Bandai?

That would make sense. The relationship between the companies would have been in place, as Bandai's Machine Robo were released Stateside as Gobots by Tonka.

Legion Of Power as someone above mentioned.

The pilots were my first LRG's :)

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

The pilots were pretty fun LRG's, I have to admit, with their rubbery posable limbs :)
