I think the robots are Monster in my Pocket Wrestlers, specifically from a cereal promo (I have one that looks like a cop, and has the same shoddy paint job)

The robot looks to be one of the original versions of those Soma robots I was talking about in the last thread.

BaltanII is spot on.
The Monster Wrestlers in My Pocket promo from White Castle such as these have simpler scult and paints than the regular line.
Else, the robot is indeed a Soma Robot.
I don't know much about those, but they seems to have been at least 4 sculpt or more with some color variation. Soma are the ones who made ninjas, wrestler, pirates, Trolls, mermaids, Teletubbies knock-off and monster PVC in the 1980's and 1990's. They also made larger, Transformers-like bots around 1984, so this one is likely from the mid 1980's to cash-in on the Transformers / Go-Bots craze.
