I created one a month or two back for FOP, but TGB has yet to unveil it. I am assuming that he has been to busy to put in all the figures, or possibly that he has had a hard time getting pics from people with them in their collection.

Are some of the numbered guys on the checklist that you get with the packages really hard to find, at least in America? Because it seems like a few of them... scorplax and a couple others... just don't exist! Or am I really unlucky? I know i'm unlucky because I havent found any secrets or xars or anything in collecting a bunch of them...

I never really got into this line, but just out of curiosity what is a fair price for a xars figure?

Originally they were going for about $100 or so. The last couple I noticed on ebay (although I don't often look for them) went for a little over $40. Marty sold a set of 5 on ebay not too long ago but I don't recall the price.

BTW, I personally sold USA Xars and AUSTRALIAN Xars for $300 ea. They are rare as heck and I only had a couple of extras of ea. I sold them in the middle of the 1st series just prior to series 2 being released so of course they commanded a higher price.
I have to disagree w/ gilgar and others respectfully. All 80's-present toylines go through a big collectamania, then they die down for a few years or a decade, then they surge! It has been proven over and over again. G1 Muscles, BB/LB, GPKs Cheap Toys, MIMP, TBB, etc... Look at what they used to sell for and what they sell for now. All those lines have rarities and unproduced, tail-enders or SUPER RARE figures. That is what drives the collectors to hunt them down and pay the BIG $$$ for those htf items! That is what makes collecting interesting!
Think about it!
Buy when they are low and sell when they are high! Or buy when they are low and relish when they are worth $$$ and in your collection when everyone else is desperately trying to hunt them down!
Just ask Ridureyu he has some ULTRA FRICKIN' RARE TBB (Trash Bag Bunch for those that don't know) MOC gitd figures and RARE Netherlands paint variants I sold him years and years ago! I wish he would snap some photos and post them. They were soooooooo kewl and I KNOW that TBB collectors would FREAK a LID to see them! Heck he would be able to sell them for $$$ if he posted them for sale now!
