sweet man can you tell us what the other figures in the series there are
@jharrop: Sure thing, a pic of the checklist for wave 2 has been posted in this thread if you want to go look at the figures from this series:
http://www.littlerub...showtopic=29178So I went back for 2 more packs this morning, and after my first 8 packs here is the breakdown that I got:
18 solid figures
18 clear figures
28 glitter figures
old sculpts: 29
new sculpts: 35
Duplicates: 8
As far as the highlights/lowlights of wave 2 go, the Professor Hulk figure is just massive, and a great addition! Sadly the other hulk figures in the first row aren't so great in comparison. The purple versions of the old black sculpts are really cool in the solid figures, but their clear and glitter versions are extremely close to being the same color as the lavender figures with Thor, Surfer, etc.
The checklist insert is probably the most misleading regarding the second row of hulk figures (world war hulks, etc.) It shows them in an almost teal color, but in reality, these figures are a dark olive green in their solid sculpts, and a very dark green in the clear and glitter versions as well. The orange figures in the third row are probably my favorite in the set as far as color goes, the orange is vibrant in all three variations, with the solids looking especially great! The onslaught figure is fantastic, and definitely one of the best in the set.
In the last of the new sculpts in the final row, the lavender figures are all pretty solid, with the Colossus and Surfer figures being my favorite of the four. The final four figures are action poses of Spidey and Iron Man, and these along with the Professor Hulk and Onslaught figures are by far the best in this new wave. The Spidey on the gargoyle and the Iron Man where he looks like he just landed and broke some pavement are definitely going up on my desk!
Anyway, thats it for my first impressions of wave 2. All told, these little guys are still a blast to bring home, and I'm really hoping this wave does well enough to warrant a third and beyond. I'll be posting doubles for trade in the trade thread, so check them out and drop me a line if you ever want to trade some of these guys.
