This month's He-Man figure is Rio Blast.  He's... interesting.  There are a lot of great ideas here, but he has lots of flaws.  Reminds me of NA Skeletor in that respect.

 

Clearly, before the last design guy left, he gave us the bulkiest, articulation-limitingest, belly-shirtest, hard-to-put-back-one-once-removedest, action-feature-does-not-workest torso armor ever.

 

He does look cool with all of his guns out, though their sculpts are simpistic and his visor just does not want to line up.

 

He looks surprisingly cool in just his t-shirt, though.

 

And even though he doesn't pose well, you can get some good poses out of him.

 

There comes a time when you realize just how far MOTU has gone from its sword-and-sorcery roots.

 

That time is when you see the cyborg space cowboy.

I picked up NECA's Shadow of Diablo - a repaint based on that part of the final battle in Diablo III where Diablo casts you into a shadow dimension and sends a clone of himself at you.

 

And WOW, the blue color scheme is AWESOME on this!

Saw that more stock of these turned up at my local TRU recently, and since I didn't have any of the Turtles left from my originals I decided to pull the trigger on them.

 

TRU has all TMNT merchandise Buy 1 / Get 1 40% Off until 9/27, so I was able to get them at a nice price

Those turtles retros are really cool. Wish I still had my original 3 (never could find raph as a kid).

Nice! I grabbed these as well a few weeks ago. They have Krang out as well. I wish I would have grabbed splinter/shredder a few months ago with the first wave of retro releases. Can't find them anywhere, so they must have just added the foot soldier and krang for the second wave.

Yeah same here. I believe shredder and splinter were the chase figs, one per case or something. I saw them both on the shelf too when they first rereleased them. Looks like they're already going for over $30 online, think ill just get a loose original heh. I went back yesterday and picked up Krang as they had restocked

Got these today.The only thing im disapointed about them is my four full color sandstone arms are two thick and don't fit!I Broke the triceratops arm trying to fit it there  .Also Very Fragile especially the full color stone so beware on that.

Completely agree! The quality and accuracy are excellent. I received the Mario and Koopa Shell sets for my birthday a few weeks ago and had been meaning to post some photos. Been holding out on getting the brick/coin set but I think I'll have to. I didn't realize wave 2 was coming so soon though. I'll have to look into that!
