Hi

I've just listed a few bits and pieces that I picked up in job lots on eBay (edit: shipping opened up to North America and Europe).

Horrors n Heroes x 4 (£45 starting price)

- Zeus (Grey)

- Echidne (Blue)
Plastic mark on top of head, probably just where the sprue was attached

- Chimaera (Blue)
Plastic mark on nose, probably just where the sprue was attached

- Heracles (Purple)
Please note: sword is broken

Yolanda Dinosaucers - Allo (Blue) (£17 starting price)

Yolanda Super Monstruos bronze Vampiresa plus small pink devil (£8 starting price)

Really like the sculpt on this but can't justify starting another collection when I've only recently started on MIMP and MUSCLE so would rather find her a new home!  The small pink devil has got his trident broken but just throwing it in with her.

Dangling these figure in front of the USA majority on this site while refusing to ship outside of the UK will not make you any friends or customers.

I honestly didn't know that this would cause that much upset on here. Certainly didn't see anything saying I couldn't post UK only auctions on here (especially as I have seen lots of people from the UK posting here and thought it was more international than America-centric). If I've missed a rule, then that's fine but I didn't see it.

edited to add: Just been looking into the eBay Global shipping option which seems easy enough (and more crucially, safe enough) to use. Just activated it on my account but to apply it to the auctions I need to weigh and measure the packages. I'll do it tomorrow and update.

Hey sorry about that, I was just messing around. You haven't broke any rule. I would say the majority of members are from the states though.

I think irbaboon meant that there are people interested in these from over here in the states that would be disappointed that they couldn't bid.

I, myself have never understood people not wanting to ship international. I've only had 1 problem in over 18 years shipping, and I was covered with PayPal since I shipped priority.

As long as you cover your butt with good shipping (and the bidder is willing to pay for the good shipping) I see no harm in international shipping. But I get it's a personal preference, just not a popular one here on the forum.

No worries, it's not always easy to judge somebody's tone of voice on the internet so I wasn't sure!

Anyhoo, the three listings above are all opened up to North America and Europe, using eBay Global shipping so eBay sets the international rates and handle customs etc.  It actually looks like it works out cheaper to ship than it would have with Royal Mail anyway.

Mistake made, lesson learned, onwards and upwards!
