Back in 2008 I snatched these Jagun Fighters on Ebay. They're for some weird collectable tradeable game thing that never took off over here. I keep them in a CD spindle case, which itself is rapidly becoming a relic of the past.

As far as I know, I have them all. Some of the sets were these three packs where one of the figures were hidden. The three packs were named and I got one of each, so I don't know if the "mystery figure" varied from pack to pack. These are some of my favorite sculpts:

The cool thing about these figures is their heft, as they're intended to be used in a weird dice game. They also have exotic molds based on Asian mythology. And finally, they feature excellent paint jobs which include dark washes to bring out the mold details.

Ben 10 was a kid sci-fi cartoon that ran for years and dominated store shelves. I never liked the cartoons, and the toys never caught my interest, except for these strange Sumo Slammers

For some reason all the characters of the show were transformed into these super-deformed sumo wrestler guys. Most of the molds are really cool, have excellent painted detail, and have a decent heft.

I'm also really digging the new Mega Bloks super articulated figures that began debuting around 2015 or so? I'm into the Terminator, Halo and TMNT Classic lines. I kind of want an army of T-1000s.

Later I'll post my muscle figures and assorted keshi.

EDIT: It's later! Here's more stuff:

This is my sparse bootleg MUSCLE collection. I found the gold kinnikuman at a ToysRUs 25 cent machine before I even knew what MUSCLE was, so I have very fond memories of losing my shit upon discovering it and recognizing it from my childhood.

These are my 25 cent machine Soma ninja bootlegs. I love them, but they're kind of hard to find. They don't have the ugly loop on the top of their heads, and they're smaller and a harder plastic than the typical bootlegs you'd see in machines. I wish I had handfuls of these guys.

Attached File  20160312_003459.jpg   35.2K   12 downloads

My two Fist of the North Star/Hokuto no Ken Keshi. I'm a huge fan of this anime and manga, so I love these a lot. Paired with my only non-flesh MUSCLE for reference.

Attached File  20160312_002241.jpg   38.33K   9 downloads

These are by far my favorite ULTIMATE MUSCLE toys. They were a pre-order bonus when people in Japan ordered a PS3 game or something. I love how the proportions and posing resemble original kinkeshi. I wish the rest of the ULTIMATE MUSCLE toys resembled the same style.

Attached File  20160312_001528.jpg   29.4K   12 downloads

Would you believe the only ULTIMATE MUSCLE figures I care about are the flesh  colored ones? I stopped trying to get them all many years ago. I'm not sure how many are left.

My baby keshi. I'm too lazy to figure out of these are bootlegs are not.

My Dragonball keshi.

And the rest!

Are those the TMNT from the blind bags? I wanted to grab a few but some the individual figures looked rather goofy. Some had flame looking eyes or hollow looking. I do like these figures though. Cool collection!

No, the blind bag TMNT figures are bigger and less articulated. These are way cooler. They come in packaging like this:

Cool! Thanks. I have yet to see those at the couple store I frequent for toys. Will keep an eye out.

I didn't realize the boxed ones were any different than the blind bags! Thanks for the info.

awesome collection of Jagun Fighters! I'm still working on my set.

These are way cooler. They come in packaging like this:

and with metal shells (for some reason!). love that these are designed after the original cartoon though.

Cool! Thanks. I have yet to see those at the couple store I frequent for toys. Will keep an eye out.

At the TRU near me there were tons of empty racks and a single Mike, which I picked up. Seemingly popular. Will be looking for some foot soldiers and bebop/rocksteady.

The blind bags are part of the Nick TMNT line. The only things in the 80s line right now are the four single-packed Turtles (in their "control art" colors, like on lunch boxes and other promotional use), the Foot multi-packs with Bebop and Rocksteady, and Krang's Rampage with Raph and Leo (in cartoon colors). We're getting the van and the Technodrome though!

Yeah, I can't keep up.  Maybe put all the images on a single page.  I have only seen the blind bags, the fly guy set, maybe one or two other vehicle sets that only had a turtle and no villain, and the Duplo-sized figures.
