The time setting of ultimate muscle is suppose to be 30 years after the end of the original Kinnikuman. However, the American version changed the gap to only 10 years. Most of the original characters are in their 50s- 60s in the Japanese version, but they are only 30 something in the American version. Both of the time settings are unreasonable. The perfect setting would be 15 to 20 years after.

Can anyone who knows the Kinnikuman generation 2 manga very well tell me why Ramenman doesn't need any mask to survive?

Why TerryKenyon, Samuu and Kid Muscle need to defeat a legend to gradute but the others don't?

As far as ramenman goes, he got his mask upgraded to a bandage, if you remember.

And also, the one true answer to any plot mystery:

For the same reason that Warsman shaves with a razor (Book #9, I believe).

There are tons of Mysteries regarding Warsman, he is just a weirdo. He is suppose to be a robot, but he dies, how the heck can a robot die?
Also, in the second superhumen tournament, he killed everyone he faced, but all of the characters he killed reappear later (Petagon and the Tea Cup guy).

During the Buffuloman saga, right at the beginning, Warsman's brain and ear drums got completely destoryed by Radioman, but all of a sudden, he reappears again with no damage.

I think a lot of new audience were so disappointed yesterday after they found out King Muscle is such an ugly idiot. I have to say they made King Muscle too darn ugly.

Before Warsman's face was revealed, a "teaser" had him shaving, his face not facing the viewer. He put his mask on and then went to train for a fight.

You saw him put the razor down.

Mind you, his face is composed entirely of robotic parts...

Most of the fun in Kin is it's lack of real plot coherency.

Why TerryKenyon, Samuu and Kid Muscle need to defeat a legend to gradute but the others don't?

I just assumed that the others did fight the Muscle League teachers, but only the important matches were shown on camera.

And as for the plot inconsistencies, I'm sure the show was intended to concentrate more on the comedy than anything (for better or for worse). I take the Kinnikuman cartoons as more like a Bugs Bunny cartoon that doesn't rely on rules, rather than a cartoon that creates its own reality like Dragonball Z. But I really haven't watched that much of either series, so that may be an inaccurate assessment.

First off, Warsman is not a robot, he's a Robo-Chojin, half robot, half flesh. He can probably repair his body parts, I think that was explained during the Akuma Shogun stuff.

Second, it's explained that Chojins can come back to live if they work hard in the afterlife, never underestimate Teapackman's dedication....

Kinnikuman is full of plotholes but there's even more for Kin 2nd... It's not even funny. Like how Kinnikuman learned the Kinniku Buster from Kamehame yet in Kin 2nd Suguru says it's the ancient technique of the Kinniku clan... etc.

That was a disapointment. This awsome looking figure at first then loses his muscle suit and is a scrawny old man.
