1000 Yen is around $9.80 at the moment I believe but don't expect them to stay that low.

 

Looking at some of the recent prices for Battle Beasts items on there I wouldn't be surprised to see these prices hit close to Ebay prices, the time that these went for a bargain is over.

I need a bunch that are listed. I've wanted King Buster for a while but I don't like the fact that the one for sale has unpainted eyes. I might still go for it. I really don't want to go for any unless they have their weapons. Everything seems to be in great shape, too. I'm kind of surprised that Kickback is the one that's off and running the most thus far!

I guess that's true. It's the rarest of the bunch that actually has the correct weapon. I just hope a few go for reasonable and not quite insane prices.

Well I walked away with the Killer Hound and the Rainbow Sam variant for decent enough prices. Someone was fighting me on the Hustlebear so I threw in the hat on that one after it hit $100. How about you guys?

I won the Brown Lion! I'm really happy with the price, too. I feel like even with shipping and fees I came away quite a bit ahead of what I would have had to pay on eBay.

I was meaning to bid on the Shool as a replacement for the one I have now, but when I went to bid it vanished. Wouldn't turn up in the query and kept getting an error when I tried reopening the auction page, then it was gone. Ah well.

I was asked to hunt down the Kickback for a fellow collector down here in Europe so I did what I was told, so Kickback will be flying this way, srry. 

Also took down the Monkey Fighter, Fennec and Clear Gator. 

Still pissed I missed out on that BB set that was out there as well since I found out it also included a couple of loose laserguns of which one was the Reefer gun I needed as well. 

 

So overall guess we had quite a good score with LRG members out in the Land of the rising Sun

LOL that´s probably the reason it didn´t go up as high as I´d expected.

Have to agree it´s gun wasn´t in the best condition but knowing the hard time I had finding one in the past the aging issue on this one is something I can live with.

I've already resigned to the fact that he'll likely be one of the final ones I get, like everyone else somehow... Seemed to make more sense to bid on some of the more common ones that wouldn't have as much competition. Hoping one day I'll find a Kickback I don't have to fight tooth and nail for

 

Shipping on those was rough though; since seller was charging about 800 yen domestic for each one, and no bidding service i know of will let you combine purchases from a single seller. Seller also charged consumption tax, which was a first for me when buying from YAJ.

Weird, based on the invoice I received from my bidding service I was only charged $11 shipping for these figs within JP....... Did request for the combined shipping option so seems that worked out well. Guess you went in via your own account giving the seller room to get some extra $ here an there knowing your not Japanese maybe!? Never heard about this before either.

i get combined shipping domestically there all the time, then again I dont use a website as a bidding service.
