At first I also struggled deciding which figure I should use for this but in the end I went with 'most significant' and took a photo with the first Battle Beast I ever owned. Somehow I've managed to keep him, so this is the same figure I remember having adventures with in my youth; digging through flower beds and playing in ditches.
During these adventures I named him "Sledge" (for obvious reasons), though by way of cosmic irony one day his hammer broke off during battle so I'd replaced it with a household brass hook. Like a distinguishing scar or tattoo, this was the way I was always able to identify Sledge throughout the years.
So this weekend while I was up in St Louis I took Sledge down to the Landing and had a shoot. Here he is posing with me under The Arch. If you've been there before, you'll know how tricky it is to get a decent photo with the Arch anywhere near it since it's so massive, so I did the best I could!
I got tons of odd looks from gawking tourists wondering why I was taking so many pictures of a tiny rubber elephant, but I had a great time and now finally have some fun photos of the most significant Beast in my collection to post in my collection thread.
