Took advantage of the 40 degree (tropical heatwave!) day today and went over to Chicago's Millennium Park over lunch to take a pic in front of the Cloud Gate sculpture ("The Bean"). For the toy I brought along Jotun Troll from MIMP. There he is sticking out of my pocket. I don't have a single favorite toy, but he represents MIMP being my very first favorite toy line.

I actually totally forgot about this contest. I'll see what I can do this weekend, as I'm going to a local fun park.

I don't really have a single "Favorite" toy.  A bunch of faves, sure... still not sure which one to take.

I finally had the chance to step away from my computer and school work today. I am not sure how many people are football/NFL fans on here but I had the opportunity to go down to CenturyLink Field today (Seahawks/Sounders stadium). One of my best friends works for the Seahawks and he was able to bring a buddy down for the day. I am HUGE Seahawks fan and have been my whole life. Needless to say the Superbowl this year was kind of a big deal for me. The last few months the city has had a buzz about it that I can't really describe. So today was actually pretty freaking awesome. This is me with one of my Critters, definitely one of my favorite toys (top 10). Another reason for that selection is his color which the Seahawks and Sounders have used in their color, logo and jersey schemes. Like others, I can't say that I have a #1 favorite toy.

Technically I was inside with the Lombardi Trophy and my friend took the picture. So here is another one from outside of the North entrance that I took. I think the wheels up top are supposed to represent different seasons. Not sure though. We have all had our theories and speculations.

The home of the 12th man... Go Seahawks!!!

At first I also struggled deciding which figure I should use for this but in the end I went with 'most significant' and took a photo with the first Battle Beast I ever owned. Somehow I've managed to keep him, so this is the same figure I remember having adventures with in my youth; digging through flower beds and playing in ditches.

During these adventures I named him "Sledge" (for obvious reasons), though by way of cosmic irony one day his hammer broke off during battle so I'd replaced it with a household brass hook. Like a distinguishing scar or tattoo, this was the way I was always able to identify Sledge throughout the years.

So this weekend while I was up in St Louis I took Sledge down to the Landing and had a shoot. Here he is posing with me under The Arch. If you've been there before, you'll know how tricky it is to get a decent photo with the Arch anywhere near it since it's so massive, so I did the best I could!

I got tons of odd looks from gawking tourists wondering why I was taking so many pictures of a tiny rubber elephant, but I had a great time and now finally have some fun photos of the most significant Beast in my collection to post in my collection thread.

Based on our submissions so far, apparently there was also an unwritten facial hair requirement.

You call this facial hair?

I should snap a picture with my fave hanging out of my beard. Its almost large enough to be classified as a landmark.

Due to my forgetfulness, I don't have any epic locations on the same scale as some of you folks.

I did, however, stop by the only shop in town that sells all of my vintage needs. (And one of the only places outside of ebay/here that I spend money on my addictions).

Also: DAT BEARD.

Double also: Horny Toad isn't my fave BB, I just wanted something to represent the line. The Cuttlefish is my #1, but due to the fact he is white I didn't want to take a chance staining him in any way. (Mine is surprisingly very white).

Curious. Why are Bachamn's 4 pictures listed as one, but everybody else's were listed separately? I expect he'll win anyway, but it is odd.

Yeah this was my assumption. I hadn't added the others as extra 'entries'; just wanted something supplemental to go along with the story (which is why I posted them as attachments and not in the actual post) :)
