[Another Fan]

Would these be good for avatars for this forum?

Which one do you guys like? If you don't like the style they're in, let me know and I'll change it. These are not the final versions yet, especially for the shaded one. I'm still working on them.


Version #1 - Pirate Lion (Deformed with Flat colors)






Version #2 - Pirate Lion (Normal Size with Flat colors)






Version #3 - Pirate Lion (Normal Size with Shading)





Please let me know how I can improve them.

Every character I do will have all the different colored variants and different symbols on their rub signs. This includes fire, water, wood, Autobot logo, and Decepticon logo. So if these are chosen to be made into avatars, people can pick the ones that best suit them.

Personally, I like the wideness of the first one and the shading on the last one. I like the slightly SD/Chibi style... Love the Sunburst!!!

Thanks! If I can, I'll do all of them. That is my goal. It will probably take me over 2 months to make them all. I'll be doing all the Laser Beasts and the God Beasts also. And variants like the clear Gruesome Gator and Killer Carp with Stripes. My next character will be Skull Grotess #101. But first I have to finish up Pirate Lion.

Thanks! I'll post the final pic(s) soon. Maybe I should take requests so I know which characters to work on next.

I know that the avatar has to be 100 x 100 pixels so I shrunk down the image.

I like the Lion very much, i'm no art critic so i'll save it for our resident experts, since i love the work they do as well, since they work so hard to do their best too~!!!

ps. Not to be in any way a mean dude, or a sissy, but, that Pirate Lion above this post would look great as a teddy lion(bear).

Here we go. #101 Skull Grotess. I don't have a Skull Grotess figure so I had to look at pictures to get details. I don't know if it's accurate. Can somebody who owns a Skull Grotess tell me if I am missing any details? And when I am done with all the details, I will go add some shading to the character.

Only thing I would say is make his eyes magenta and his toes green!!! Is it possible to make his fire element disappear and reappear like the sunburst lion you did? If so, DO IT TO ALL THE AVATARS YOU MAKE!!! That is sooooooooo kewl!

For making the fire symbol disappear and reappear, that shouldn't be any problem. I'll do it to every character.

Do you want me to make both versions of Skull Grotess (one with green toes and the other one with yellow toes)?

Someone has mentioned about wanting to see #57 Black Panther, so after I'm done with Skull Grotess, that will be my next project. Are there any other characters that people would want to see first?

Do both toe versions, just so you have them cataloged.

What about #103 slag king, #110 Grin Reefer, Crusty Crab (both pink and orange), Jaguar (both blue armor and maroon armor), Gorilla (both orange armor and red armor)... I think those would be good ones, especially the ones with variations, cuz you get 2 for one!!!

Magenta behind #101 and Orange behind #1? Basically complimentary colors...
