Just curious if anyone has put a muscle figure, or similarly rubber cast figure, under a uv tanning bulb for a while.  Would figures turn clear after a long time?  If all color is white and absence of color is black, and uv light fades colors, wouldn't they turn black after a while since the color is diminishing?

All color is white in in light, not in pigment.

I would guess it would wash out color, and speed up the deterioration of the rubber. Just a guess though.

I have placed a flesh muscle in direct sunlight for the whole light cycle for the past two summers.  It is faded a lot compared to the back, but that's it.  Nothing special.  Thanks for the replies Imperfecz.
