It was me   

I got tired of waiting around to find one in the wild, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this one, from the most recent auction over on the Bay. I won this guy within .46 cents of my max bid, so I feel pretty lucky. What are the chances I'm ever going to find a Purple Claw in the wild??? Slim to none. So I went for it. And I'm glad I did. It has a little scuff, but if you know me at all, you know that I like my toys to have some wear to them  

 

Additionally, I went ahead and picked up a Red Claw in a four pack, also over at the Bay, because that is actually an even a bigger deal to me than owning a Purple Claw, but again, something I'm not likely to ever find in the wild. 

So now what??? I've kind of completed what I set out to do when I started collecting MUSCLE so many years ago. First I wanted a Satan Cross, and I got one of those in an auction with a complete flesh set way back in the day. Then I wanted to find something, ANYTHING in the wild, and I found a blue claw at a flea market, AND a super rare at a vintage toy store. I had always wanted to find something rare and cool in the wild, so done and done. So I guess this is kind of it for me. I'll still collect MUSCLE when I find them locally, and probably try to pick up the belt and the board game, maybe the NES game, and hell, maybe even the other Claw colors, but I think I've pretty much completed the goals I had set out to complete when I first started this. It feels pretty good

Cool man, congrats. I agree, sealed red claw I would rather have. I've only ever stayed within the flesh realm of collecting but have picked up a few colors. My only colored claws I've kept are the repro set, which are just the same to me. But very cool and glad you got them.

@TanRnet: Right on I have a friend locally that only collects fleshies, so we're gonna start trading, since I want more of the colors, overall

If you don't mind me asking was the seller dema_bria if it is he's local and I wanted to know if you had any problems with the transaction before I try to cut a deal. Great buys by the way.

@tommyfilth: I honestly don't recall the eBay username of the person I picked up my claw from, though I did try to find it when I saw your post (I wasn't able to track it down). I can tell you that I personally didn't have any trouble with the person I bought the claw from.
