I bought a few FoP 5-packs today - only three. Two of them had the same figure showing (H-8T), which you'd think doesn't matter. Here's what I got from the two H-8T packs:

Pack #1:

Crystal Slaughta

Shadow Tendril

Shadow Tremmor

Shadow Gregor


Pack #2:

Crystal Slaughta

Shadow Tendril

Shadow Tremmor

Shadow Gregor




...Yes, that's right. The same figures, including a crystal rare. Does this kind of thing happen often?

yes it does. i was using the system yesterday at wal-mart and three packs in a row i checked had a hyper infernus. I don't see to many hyper infernus's, but 3 in a row was really weird.

has anybody tried to put together a checklist of which packs have what?

From what I have seen, it is only valid per case assortment. If the cases came from the same factory/store/shipment date, then they will be packed almost identically. But, it is not consistent when the cases come from different places.

Yeah, when I learned about that, it pretty much cut all of the fun out of FoP for me. My real addiction to the little guys was the fact that I could never tell what I was going to get in a pack until I opened it... or so I thought...

well today i opened a pack and got two of the same figures in the same packet. i don't have to tell you how outraged i was.

Okay, so I kinda lied. I did use the system of non-randomness to my advantage (and the sneaky peak trick) to get myself two crystal Hisss, a hyper Grondar, a shadow Grondar, and a hyper Slaughta from two packs today.

And you got two of the same figure in one pack? O_O Okay, yeah, that would annoy the crap outta me too. I'm guessing they were common too?

well today i opened a pack and got two of the same figures in the same packet. i don't have to tell you how outraged i was.

I need to brag for Lazorlion...

He went to one Walmart's 196 5 pack island display and scored his Shadow Shriek and ALL 3 shadow Cutters...but, here is the KICKER!!! He found 2 Shadow Cutters in ONE PACK!!! So stop b*tchin' kids and find a pack that has 2 Xars or 2 Crystal Shrieks in it!!! Ya, right...

I just went through 250 packs (using the "system") this week and found not a single secret or Xar!!! Not to mention no wave 2's either...

My guess is TRU will get the first shipments of wave 2.
