That's right, found my 2nd Xar today at my local WallyMart here in Austin TX

They are numbers 3 & 628 out of 1000 --- both red dot

this sux i have searched it seems like 10 million packs in pa and i have found not one super rare of any kind. this blows because everyone else finds like 3.

I havent bought a pack in a long time because i am just waiting for series 2

Yeah, I haven't found anything either in my area. Only the regular rares.

Here is a concept for you.

1000 per country. Somewhow I don't think that there are still 1000 collectors in the US. Not to mention that Xar supposedly didn't come out in the first wave, which would mean that they would have to seed him in the short run of wave 2.

He was in the yellow test market packs wave one series one. He was in the blue packs wave one series one. and the secrets have been found in the 2 packs and in the blue wave one series one 5 packs.

So they ARE out there.

Problem is...you have got to go through about 1,500-2,000 packs before you find one. At least that is what happened for me.

WOW!!! #3 Canadian Xar!!! WOW!!!

I now have all 4 Xars (Candian red dot, Australian blue dot, USA silver dot, and UK red/blue dots). I now have 1 shadow Shriek and 2 shadow Cutters...(I traded my extra Shadow Shriek for a UK Xar). I only need a shadow or any Savage Secret figure!!!

I can't wait for the Arena, wave 2 series 1 and series 2!!!

I hope they make someplaysets other than the arena...but, I am sure they won't.

Don't give up, like Johnny said there's likely fewer than 1000 collectors i.e. those buying mass quantities and probably no more than a couple per city if that. That means if there is one in your town, you're likely the one to find it unlike other collectibles where you have to "compete" with several collectors.

I didn't have to go through nearly as many as TGB mentioned. I went through about 25 in one Wichita Falls store & 50 in the other. I also saw about 20 per store or so in several Texas small towns plus some in Colorado when I drove to Denver a couple of weekends ago. I've also viewed about 40 here in Austin. So I'm guessing I've gone through around 300 5 packs.

I was only looking for Xar as I figured the gold chrome would be easy to spot--it is--so there could have been other rares.

BTW it's probably a good idea to check the pack before you buy anyway as I have found several that had one or more missing including some with all of them missing.
