Anyone seen this before or have it happen? Bought some Battle Beasts off a guy (no one from here i don't think) and it;s been less than stellar. The guy took several days to contact me after a facebook live sale (usually 24 hours to hear back from someone); I paid him, then nothing for almost a week, he sends me a generic box picture w/tracking (does NOT show my address on the label) and then this pops up when i punch it in. Guy shoots me some story about issues with lukemia in a family member.

I want to be give the benefit of the doubt, but this tracking number has not budged or updated since he shot it to me on the 11th (says it already went out that morning...but the label was made at the time we were having the conversation on Monday.

I feel there are enough red flags here to just file a return claim. Never had this happen in 20 years with a "pre-shipment" label.

Even if the family member is sick he can't swing by the post office for 2 mins to drop off a package?

Or hand it to the mailman who comes by his house very day?

Pre-shipment means the label is created but not given tot he post office yet.

I'd cancel the deal and ask for a refund.

The longest I've ever had a package sit in "pre-shipment" was 10 days (and that was from a LRG member). It's extra frustrating, because literally all you have to do is leave it out for your carrier.

That said, there is a slim possibility that they did give it to the USPS. I've been selling a lot of toys on eBay during this quarantine time and I've been printing all my postage at home. There have been a couple of packages out of about 20 that have taken up to 3 full days *after* I put them in the carrier's hand to actually show up in the system.

I think what happens is that the carriers aren't always super vigilant about scanning them when they take them. If nobody at the outgoing PO scans them either, then they don't show up until they hit the next sorting location. That's not the way it should happen, but it sometimes does.

It's also been evident that all the shippers are moving more slowly than normal. I sent a Priority Mail package to Maryland from Mass on the 2nd that didn't get there until the 11th. I sent a Fed Ex Ground box to OR on the 5th that still hasn't arrived. Some razor blades I ordered online were shipped UPS on the 5th from NJ and I only just got them today.

Thank you

I'd give the guy the benefit of the doubt. I bought something from a board member here through eBay and it took almost a month for him to send it. And they live here in the US too. It happens.

Final update! It finally showed up in the twin cities, so it was never scanned in Florida when it left.
