Saw this image on the trash pack website
could be the series 7 direction?
looks like it could become a pretty cool series, looking forward to heaps of weird monster germs and stuff :D (if it ends up being the new series)

There's a press release doing the rounds which seems to confirm all of this.

THE TRASH PACK – FALL 2014

This Fall, Moose Toys introduces the sickest collection yet of the grossly popular boys collectible, The Trash Pack: Series 7 Junk Germs! Housed in test tube and beaker bins, Junk Germs features more than 150 new Trashies, with all new teams including Germ Worms, Vicious Virus, Pet Germs, Household Germs and all new Limited Edition Super Snot characters, plus a rotten vehicle kids can use to clean up their ‘trash.’

I pulled these very low res images from the document

Series 7?! I've only seen Series 5 in one location, and never seen Series 6!

Current collecting goal: obtain all 148 Monster In My Pocket Series 1 figures in regular colors (71.62% there)

That's odd. Series 5 and 6 is widely available in the UK. I have loads of spares. Yet we didn't get Gross Ghosts at all!

Seconded.

I also hope they do more of the harder plastic figures, too. I like the ones I have from series 6 a lot... In fact, they, along with the Gross Ghosts, are the only TP figures I have kept.

They originated in Australia so I get all of them and I think a bit earlier than everyone else too :)
only thing in the world we get first lol
I wrangled up some higher res versions of the ones you grabbed

It looks like they're starting to release 2 series a year (not including Ghosts) in May and December. So I'm hoping that continues!

edit: Also I can just read "2 Special edition cold colour change trashies inside!" on the 12 pack
and "Find ultra rare gross guts trashies!"
Sounds rad to me

Series 5 and 6 are Toys R Us exclusives in the USA.  They have plenty of them there, but you have to pay inflated TRU prices.  :(

Disney and Moose are teaming up for a contest to win Series 7 figures in AU. I think it's safe to say that this will be out pretty soon. The limited edition figure (250 units) is named Captain Contagious and looks pretty simple, though I have only seen part of it's front face.

I have all info about Junk Germs so far on this page, check it out if you want.

Toys R Us has series 7 now. I picked up the only 12 pack they had. The artwork inside the clear tubes is removable.

These are the cold color change figures that come in the 12 packs. The red spots on the blue figure and the blue spots on the yellow figure weren't visible before putting them on ice in the freezer.

I don't think any of this series are hard plastic, but I didn't get any of the ultra rare X-Ray figures. Maybe those are hard plastic for this series.

Is there a reason so many people prefer the hard plastic figures? For customs or something?

"Gross Guts" was changed to "X-ray" for some reason, a cool idea although the visible innards are just a simple plastic ball and barely noticeable.

I love having so many parasite and germ themed toys, though. I keep looking for Eye Worm, probably the most grotesque trashie they've done yet.

I feel like "Icky Earthworm" and "Ring Worm" accidentally switched names. What they're calling Icky Earthworm is biting its tail in a ring shape.

I like the harder plastic, just because it's more durable. There are a few really dense TP sculpts that are still nice in that rubber, but firmer material is the way to go.

Funny, who would have guessed that Moose's Squinkies ripoff line would have outlived Squinkies whole brand?

It amazes me the series keeps on going, there are so many of these now.  I've still been buying the magazine and the last issue I had (16) had one of these on the front.  Not seen issue 17 and pretty sure it should have come out by now which is odd, has the mag ended?

I've not logged on for ages, but for the first time since trashies came out, I actually came across a load at a car boot sale at the weekend, I guess the kids are getting bored with them, I ended up buying only all the figures in the metal bin and leaving all the playsets, silly really as they were a great price, wish I'd taken them now and the series 1 collectors case. Doh!  Can't say I've seen much shelf space in shops dedicated to these now either.  Is series 7 the last?

I believe Series 7 is it, yes. Moose has decided to abandon its most successful property in favour of failures like Mutant Mania and Ugglys Pet Shop.
