I listen to quite a few podcasts; one of the more recent ones being the Power Pals podcasts (featuring comedians Andrew DeWitt, Jerry Rocha & Mike Black).

In the latest episode they discuss their favorite childhood toy lines and ended up riffing Battle Beasts for a moment.

Relevant part begins at 43:36, the whole episode is pretty funny though
(NSFW warning)

Not very long or significant, but BBs are so often overlooked in the collecting world that I get excited whenever they show up in pop culture. Also seemed like a good way to recommend this podcast as I feel like quite a few of you guys would enjoy it.

Nice find! Always good to see such a small line had such a wide reaching impact on people outside this community. They shall live on forever in the hearts of the children of the 80's.

A fun addendum; in the latest episode of Power Pals Andrew Dewitt (@dewidiot) gave me a shout-out and read part of an email response I'd sent in about BB's, MUSCLE and the LRG community. They even did a call to action for listeners to check out Forming the Beast at the end.

Jerry Rocha (@rochacomedy) commented that I'd helped them "grow into an army", which might be the best framed "thank you" I've ever received.

http://powerpals.lib.../power-pals-016 @ roughly 67 minutes in. They spend most of the episode ripping into the Rogue 1 trailer so I'd recommend listening to all of it.
