I think so...It's a little large, but it's the only axe I have on hand that resembled the comic.Nice custom! Is the extra axe from a Rock Lord per chance?
As you can see I took the liberty of finishing off the gold armor instead of leaving him half done like the comic. I tried it half done and it looked silly.
Go for it Gabe...If you find a good toy with the bow and arrows that works well let me know. I suggest using a lighter gold...the darker didn't look right to me.

I'm glad you like him. Do you mean scans from the comic? This is the only one in the comic with the Carp in gold. There is one with the Snake with a crown and sceptor, (pardon my spelling if that's wrong) that I may do in the future. The writer of this comic really loved the Snake...he's the smart one in two of the three stories.is it really that shiny or is it the photo?

The paint is quite shiny because of the metallic properties. It looks sweet! I used metallic Incan Gold for it and it worked out perfect. Too bad it takes 6 coats to get it that way.

Metallic paints go in very thin, which is good in one way because it allows 6 coats and still having some detail, but it sure is a ton of work! Add to that I did his arms and legs with a darker gold first, only 3-4 coats though....nearly 7-10 coats on the arms and legs!!6 coats?! thats a lot of work... To bad about the scans... But I can't wait to see the costum snake!

Great repaints man!!! Love both of them.
I agree with you, if you had left the gold armor half done like in the comic, it would be quite awkward looking, but how you did looks great. Keep it up!
