It took me 5 years and 3 different artists to find someone to make me custom Battle Beasts reliably. These beasts are different than most on the market in that the body is an original BB figure (beaters from my years of collecting) with new heads and different paint jobs. I wanted something that felt like a real battle Beast not a mold. Have a look tell me what you think. The figures are $60 USD each if anyone wants one. Cheers

Thanks.  If the rest don't sell I might have him make them less detailed and charge less. But my standards for paint are high. I don't like the paint bleed on  a lot of the original figures from the 80's.

Interesting work! I've always been fascinated in the concept of creating new types of Beasts from the animals they didn't use!

Thank you, I had this white tiger made a few years ago and have kept trying to find artists to make more.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, the Doberman is sold. I reduced the price to $60 each but since this was my 3rd attempt at commissioning customs and it failed due to lack of interest there won't be any more made.  I will continue to get them made for myself but this was the last batch for resale. I genuinely hope someone can produce quality customs and extend the lineup past the 112 original figures.

These are really cool, especially that Black Cat.

But yeah, custom Battle Beasts are a crapshoot... Kitbashed figures in my experience dont sell that well, at least not for prices that make it worth making them. Custom higher end painted versions of popular figures or completely new figures seem to be the better sellers. I recasted a handful of Laser Beasts in Glow, Thermal, and Metallic colors that sold ok, but it seems most collectors are draw to certain figures, either by nostalgia or just favorites in general. Some people want an army of one specific figure in all ways and shapes, and other people dont want that figure at all. Thats why i moved away from custom BB/LBs.

You are 100% correct. I have a different preference for customs than many other collectors, for me the rubber feel of BB is a vital part of what made them great and all the cast customs I have seen in person lacked that authentic feel. When I worked with Jason, the gentleman who made that white tiger I posted he did an unbelievable job with the sculpting but the figures cost a lot more because they took much longer to make. The best I can hope for now is 3D printed figures like the Bee that someone posted recently.

These are really cool, especially that Black Cat.

And just to confirm that they are original rubber and I am the most prolific beater beast buyer that exists. :)
