Middle one, what do yo guys think?
Him and the guy to his right have dark purple vents and are both green rubber instead of teal-blue rubber.
They look shorter to me.

Ha ha I see what you mean the ears are way shorter. Plus there is a slight colour differance. Nice find

Smaller version due to slightly smaller head and shorter ears. This figure has light pink chest accents and a more glossy finish. It came from a Japanese MISB Ram Chariot box set.

True, its a known issue with some Rabbits as Ericnilla above refered to.
I've a couple of these smaller more Greenish Rabbits as well.
On some points its also like a visual issue because if you actually place them back to back against each other the difference in length is less clear amongst some so its depending on specific figs.

The picture in the Beastformers checklist is perfectly showing that there is a difference but its clearly not a general issue between the 'normal' and more Greenish Rabbits. I took a pic of the difference amongst two of my Rabbits back to back;

If you actuall make sure both have their feet fully on the ground and than place their backs against each other there's a difference in lenght of max 1-3 mm (0.04-0.12 inch). So its not much but there is a difference :)

@ BigSerow looks like you also have a Round tail Rabbit in there as well, which like the ears is a known issue but to small to make it really 'variants' but for the variant seekers these are interesting figs for sure.

Ha ha I think the round tail rabbit is a varient and not that easy to come across. He's up in my varient part of my collection. Your right it is a small varient but still a varient never the less. No smaller then painted or in painted teeth on the mouse. I wouldn't say he's worth anymore then the normal rabbit but still cool. I never noticed the ears that's new to me so well done on finding that.

I'm not sure that the origin is definitive, although it's likely it did come with a vehicle, because that's where most of the lesser variants (pink crab) originate.

A couple of these have passed through my collections over the years. I don't think they're anything spectacular or worth adding to a collection of variants. I believe I might still have without the rubsign. I made no effort to add this figure to my personal collection (same with the slightly different yellow Rhinos, orange/over black vs black/over orange Tortoises, etc.).

This goes back to an earlier post I made where I questioned our obsession with minor variations. I am happy that some people are dedicated enough to the hobby to compile all of these oddities. However, beyond that, I hope new collectors don't feel they MUST have all of these oddball variants in order to make their sets. (Although they SHOULD have a Blue Jaguar, Orange Gorilla, Black Mole, etc. because those are major, clear variations on the originals).

I agree with what your saying I don't think people should feel the need that they have to add this varient to there collection. Or should they feel the need to add any varient to there collection. But if you want your collection to retch the best possible size it can and to have the buggiest wow factor I think the more the better as long as they are varients and not just sun fade. The beasts that are a slight shade differance I have problems with( not crab mole jag gorilla etc) but when they have something different with the mold or a differance colour all together I must have them for my varients collection. I guess it just depends on the collection. However when I get home I'll be digging around for a short eared rabbit.

The round tail rabbit is also missing the date under the maker mark on the back while the stub tail clearly has it as a third line ;-) To bad I didn't notice before I had my daughter zombify my round tail!
