Not been collecting long, so bear with me here B)

Now I know that all figures are commonly found in flesh, but would it be accurate to say that certain figures in certain colours are even more common than they are in flesh?

I can only speak from my experience, but I finally got round to sorting out what I have so far (currently up to 578, w00t) and while I have 1 or 2 of most figures in flesh, far and away the commonest figures I have are coloured ones.

For example, I have a single #228 in flesh, but I have maybe a dozen #228s in purple. I have one #50 in flesh, but 9 or 10 in red. I don't even have a single sunshine arch #15 in flesh, but I have 5 or 6 in red and salmon.

Is this just me? Have I just accumulated a really odd collection or are some coloured figures more common than their flesh counterparts?

I think there are always little anomalies like this. I've had what feels like hundreds of Purple #180 and #208.

I think there is a very high probability that some Color figures are more numerous than a few specific Flesh figures. However, I don't think it is significant enough for us to document. Using the resources available to us today, we'd never collect sufficient data (for a variety of reasons B) ). Even if we had Bandai's production plans from each of the factories it would be pretty tough.

If you are thinking about getting rid of any of those salmon or red #15. Let me know I would be happy to work something out.
