Sweet. I wonder if this also bodes well for the planned SLUG series.

Glad to hear this line is continuing!
There's been so much speculation of them being canned that I'd almost given up hope so this news comes as a bit of relief.

I'm not trying to be the only negative person but having dealt with Jakks Customer Service (which is basically detached from the company in all aspects, they are located in Walnut and the company is located in Malibu), they have 0 clue what they are talking about ever. I've tried to deal with them several times and it is only a call center using scripted messages to respond (if they respond at all). I just find it hard to think that Toys R Us that has stuff sitting around for a year untouched and Walgreens who clearance figures for .50 cents would buy into this line further (especially given the track record with Target).

BUT I hope this is true! I need me some more Zombies for my collection! :wacko9:

I'd like Zombie Popeye, because I am a Popeye mark.. But I am a lot more interested in the Monsters and Aliens lines.

Agreed, Monsters and Aliens would be cool! But if we ger any more Slugs I think it's ones they already invested money in sculpting and production into and so the fact we have never seen anything but Zombies is a bad sign.

i have it on the good word of a walgreen's store manager that the clearance there was only because these items were classified as "seasonal". after halloween, they just got rid of them. this is not an indicator of failure to move. target may have had some issues moving units, but, from what i've read on the interwebs (and therefore true) TRU is going in for the next wave at least.

of course of all this is speculation. don't flame me, bro.

Yes, the only reason Walgreens clearanced their figures is because they were marked seasonal.
I look forward to hopping from Walgreens to Walgreens to get more figures. there are bunches of stores here. However, I hate TRU (at least the one here) because it's poorly stocked and it's the only one around. I'd have to travel pretty far to find another.

So, I hope walgreens gets stocked with more than what they did last time.

I agree. I look at these everytime I go to the store, and they look great for what they are, but I am so damn tired of seeing zombies everywhere I go that I can't bring myself to buy any. I really hope that they do some monsters and aliens, and sell them RANDOMLY PACKAGED. Its just more fun collecting like this and having extras to trade.
