If you look closely at the bottom of this sealed ten-pack....

...you'll notice a Dr Bonbe. Also, I picked up BHS with the insert still tabbed. Not nearly as cool as finding an SR in the wild (I incurred a small amount of debt for these), still, I'm super excited to have them both. Not opening the 10-pack is maddening o__0

I'v seen these on Ebay off and on for insane prices. Like BHS going for $2,000+ insane. I don't remember the cost of the 10 pack, but it was well up there also.

Congrats on the addition! I would be pulling my hair out trying not to open that 10 pack for that Dr Bonbe.

Outstanding acquisition!

How many SRs have been discovered in Muscle packaging?

Thanks guys! It's seriously driving me crazy. How can I possibly display this and have it still look cool without opening it?!

@Strontium: I don't know that any have?.. But to be fair, this was not my discovery, only my purchase. The person I bought it from knew good and well what it was, and priced it accordingly ;)

There is no real way. Though your pic is perfect to show that it is indeed in there. Just display the 10 pack. And know how rare of a find you have.

Get creative!

Use a hi-res pic like the one you posted and have it printed like a mid sized poster. Frame it then get a small display case for the can and glue it to the glass of the poster frame near the bottom. I have seen this done with baseballs before and it looked great.

@Bones: Yep, you guessed it. I also picked up my SHA from him. And thank you :)

So it was those sales on Ebay I would see. I hope you didn't have to pay those insane prices he was asking.

@fisheye: they are from the same eBay auctions, though I did not buy them through eBay. They stopped popping up, so I just hit up Alex and asked if he would cut me a deal for the three he had left - SHA, BHS, and the sealed Bonbe - and he was down. They weren't cheap, but not as much as the eBay auctions. I would say the prices were comparable to most of the private SR sales for the same figures I've seen around.

That's a good thing. I know they don't come cheap, but those prices were to high. Or I would have picked up the BHS myself.

I'm happy for you and also happy the figures are staying in the community. Some people would buy these up and resell for even more. That sort of thing destroys the economy of a hobby.

Awesome acquisitions! Those have been up for a good while along with some other SR and regular MUSCLE stuff. I have been awfully tempted by some of it myself. That 10 pack would drive me nuts. I think I would have to open it. Do you (or anyone) know the history of the ten pack? Where it was found or discovered?

To play off what Plastic was saying, you could do the same thing but with an image of Dr. Bonbe himself. I have seen some other great shots of him out of the package that you could probably use.

Congratulations man. You now have 2 of the coolest MUSCLE items in my opinion.

@fisheye: agreed :)
@screamer: the guy I picked this up from said he just got lucky, and noticed it after he had already bough the ten pack. And thank you! I think I've just about tapped out what I can realistically get my hands on, SR-wise ;)

All three of those are truly awesome but for sure the best has got be the dark emperor found in the wild.

This is not an offer or a hounding but if you ever decided to let any of them go I'd be very interested.

Also...I'd let that guy out of his cage...he deserves some fresh air.
I'd even record it being opened like it was tuts tomb or capones vault.

Haha I thought of that, actually, recording the opening, but ultimately, I'm going to keep him in there as long as humanly possible. I'll never regret keeping him packaged, while i might regret opening him up.

If I were to ever get rid of any of these, I would do an LRG auction and list it all for a buck :)

I took PlasticSoul's idea and came up with this. It's not great, but it's what I came up with utilizing the very limited amount of free time I've had lately. It gets the job done ;)

That Dr. Bonbe is perhaps my all time favorite.  Very awesome.  I cannot imagine how awesome it would feel to find any of the the super rares in the wild..........so cool.
