Hello everyone,

Lately I've been looking for a figure to go with my figuarts collection but haven't been very successful.

I thought about the Ultimate Muscle Version made by Bandai but that might be too big. I would really like to see a picture of him next to the figuarts figures but couldn't find any online. Otherwise I was thinking about making my own one out of the Master Asia figure but that might be a difficult task as I have no experience in customizing.

Does anyone of you maybe have an idea which Ramenman might fit? I would really appreciate your help.

Regards,

Ben

Hello!

Judging by the Robin & Warsman figures, the figuarts and bandai Kinnikuman Nisei figures (the japanese version of the ultimate muscle ones) are in scale.

I took 2 quick pictures (poor quality since it's dark), the figuarts looks a lil bit smaller on them but that's because of the depth of the plastic case which is different.

Hope it can help!

Hi,

thanks a lot for the pictures :)

It really looks like they are in scale, so I'm just going to order a Ramenman, they are not that expensive anyway.

Thank you again for your help,

Regards,

Ben

Hey Sony545, I would highly suggest NOT buying an Ultimate Muscle Ramenman

SvomNtJ.jpg

The American release, which is what that figure is, has really ugly miscolored joints. I lost the pieces to his mustache, which was enormous.
I enjoyed the figure a lot as a kid, which is how wear ended up tearing off his shirt at the waist. His ponytail also nearly came off.

I am 99% sure we'll see a far better Figuarts Ramenman with a thin, nicely painted mustache, better sculpted/articulated, multiple heads/hands, and in scale with figuarts. Perhaps even a slightly articulated ponytail in some way.

We may even see a Mongolman down the line (hopefully not as an exclusive)!

EDIT:
Here is an image of the much better assembled/painted Japanese version of the Nisei figure. Although much better looking, no where near as good as the Figuarts will look, and still out of scale.

thin, nicely painted mustache? Check!

better sculpted/articulated? Check!

multiple heads/hands? Check!

in scale with figuarts? Check!

a slightly articulated ponytail? Check! (See the balljoint where the head and hair attach)

Mongolman? All signs point to Check! We'll find out!

not as an exclusive? So far, appears to be a Check! We'll find out!

I'm just tooting my own horn ;]

Did you end up buying the Ultimate Muscle Ramenman?
