hey dudes! I'm back! Sorry for the long hiatus. I had a solo show and was part of 2 group shows AND went to Romania with my girlfriend.

I was also trying to round out my collection of Weird Balls. I'm now missing only one, but posted about them anyway.

Christian, I did get your fake Madball and I'm sorry I haven't written sooner to let you know. I'll PM you in a sec!

Just been looking at your new Sadballs - Pain Toad was a toy I loved many many MANY years ago. He has a bit of exposed tissue on the top of his head, right? One day I left it at my nan's house, and it became a dog toy, getting thrown around fields and chewed on all day. Ah well.

Be nice to have him back one day.

Seriously awesome collection dude. I always loved Madballs, although I only ever had a few (the Super Madballs are my favourites). I do have most of the head poppers though.

One which I don't think you'll have come across is this Oculus Orbus-inspired chap from a couple of years back:

Attached File  MadballKnockoff.JPG   54.6K   11 downloads

As you can see, far from being a children's toy, it's actually a promotional item for a local government anti-smoking campaign (it's made from foam, so I guess it's intended for use as a stress ball).

NICE! that thing's awesome!

Yeah I'm trying to decide if i should keep collecting the Head Poppers because they're super expensive and break super easy (the little tab that keeps their heads on is the first thing to go).

Hey dudes, I know it's been a while but here's a huge new update....BLURP BALLS!!!

Well the good news is, it turns out my Pain Toad WASN'T lost after all! Found him in a box that's been in my dad's attic for the last ten years. He's really sticky, so the dog theory stands true. It's not brain on top of his head, but there is some visible flesh.

Also in the box was a Horn Head I don't remember owning (without a horn), but the Screamin' Meemie I remember having is no-where to be found.

About the Madballs Head-Popping Action Figures, they're not as difficult to get as you'd think. I've had Bruise Brother and Dust Brain since I was 6 or 7, but the rest I've managed to accumulate over the last two years, each one costing less than £10. Got Oculus Orbus earlier this week, leaving only Horn Head to go for a full set.

Incidentally, somewhere I have a comic with an advert for Blurp Balls on the back cover. Would you be interested in a scan?

Good news on the Pain Toad!!

Wow, yeah all the Heap Popping ones I've seen have gone for about £30 or so. Im not sure what the $ to £ conversion is right now. I have a Slobulus, Oculus Orbus, Wolf Breath and Bruise Brother as well as a Lock Lips with a broken tab.

Yeah a scan would be great! I'll add it to my post!
