Okay, it's been awhile since I've posted a toy review so I thought I'd post one about one of my favorite ATOC toys, Electronic Jango Fett! This Jango Fett is unlike most in the 12" Star Wars line because its costume is plastic through and through! The plastic actually works better than cloth for this character, because cloth has a tendency to look clumpy with 12" figures.

Electronicness: The Electronic features of this toy are light-up booster rockets and sound effects. The sound effects sound great! The blaster fire, rocket launch and booster rockets sound really cool! And when you smack him, he lets out a grunt! It's loads of fun just beating the crap out of Jango yourself! Jango's voice is a bit off... although they got an actor who is pretty close, it's not Jango.

Articulation: The figure boasts a lucky 13 points of articulation, all of them realized as ball-in-socket joints! This gives you a big opportunity to have Jango bust some great poses as seen below...

... and here I recreate the scene where Jango flys at Obi-Wan and fires his grappling hook...

...speaking of which, this leads to...

Accessories: Jango comes with a helmet, a rocket (which can be fired from his backpack), two blasters, and a grappling hook. The grappling hook is somewhat boring and pointless... but the helmet is really nice, and actually looks closer to the movie helmet than the Ultimate Jango Fett.

Sculpt: The sculpt is very well done with cool cloth and battle damage detailing all over. His head without the helmet is a bit too small and he has somewhat of a chicken neck, though (as seen below).

Overall Rating: 4.5 Rocket Firing Backpacks out of 5 (almost perfect, but that head needs some help)

The fact that this Jango is all-plastic reminds me of the vintage 12" Boba Fett. Below you see a picture of them both, as they try to figure out how Jango is Boba's father, given that Boba is Jango's senior by about 20 years.

Looks like Boba got the extra shot of growth serum. Either that or Jango is suffering from osteoporosis at an early age.

Well, a friend of mine gave it to me about three weeks ago (we pretty much just trade toys back and forth), but I've seen it at K-Mart, and maybe Wal-Mart too. I don't really see much of the electronic 12" figures (Obi-Wan is just as hard to find) but he's definitely out there.

One more thing about this toy: the price is $35! ^_^ It's a bit steep, but if you're a Jango Fett fan, you'll probably think it's worth it.
