Background: Anima is the name of Seymour's summon monster in Final Fantasy X. Think of the summons, or "Aeons," as a grown-up version of Pokemon. Anima is a tremendous demon born from Seymour's mother's sacrifice. It';s the single most devastating and horrifying summon in the entire game- you'd have to see it in action to know what I mean. Anima will warp reality to cause instant death, its single exposed eye (top head) fires bursts of pain, and its lower half can become unbound to ravage an enemy for over ten thousand HP of damage in a horrifying sequence. And now, we have the action figure:

Size: About 6-7"

Sculpting: Very excellent, It includes every detail about Anima, except for the chains that bind around its body and link into the ground. The detail on the bottom head is excellent, but I wish that it had its manacles. Also, the figure's small size doesn't really show how HUGE Anima is in the game. Also, the bottom half of it is underground when you fight it(in hell, really), so the figure should be detachable at the "Waist" to show that.

Paint Job: Nearly as good as the sculpting. the only flaw that I can point out is that Anima's single eye (top head) is shown with a single green dab of paint in the tear in its bandages. Anima has a green eye, but it is a *very* human eye- tragic, really.

Articulation: Practically nil. You can move its lower head;s jaew, and the arms somewhat- but Anima *is* bound, so articulation would be weird.

Playability: very excellent. the thing is terrifying, and very, very well-made.

overall: Anima is one of the least expensive FFX figures, so it's worth a shot! It should run you from $7-$20, depending on where you go.

Thanks. I forgot to mention the material- for its main body, it's a hard, durable plastic, but for things like the "leaves" and hair on the lower head, it's more flexible- it fits, really. And the jaw opens *very* wide.
