Yes!

My Holy Grail item is the Tako Tank that comes with Ikard, a blue squid Beast Wars transformer.

This figure and his vehicle were exclusive to Japan, and I didn't even know it existed until a couple years ago, (that goes for the entire Japanese Beast Wars line).

Ikard himself is just a repaint of Claw-jaw, an orange and pinkish red squid. I'm not a big fan of blue, but it works well with this figure. I'm mostly excited about that tank though!

Given the prices it frequently goes for on ebay, I was certain I would never own this figure. Thanks to Eric Nilla, however, I'll be the proud owner of one of these bad boys, (BNIB), within the month, hopefully!

Just to be clear, the "holy grail" is a toy that you are looking for, not something you have? Right?

Just to be clear, the "holy grail" is a toy that you are looking for, not something you have? Right?

To my understanding, and kickback also agreed, it doesn't matter. It just has to be a figure you want more than any other and is either hard to find or otherwise out of your reach, (financially, geographically, etc).

Acquiring it doesn't make it any less my grail figure. It just means I'm finally able to be a happy man-child.

This contest spoke to me because I have a holy grail I feel I'll never obtain. A Tochukaso Yggdradon by Monstock:

yggdradon3.jpg

I have no idea how to navigate Monstock's lottery system and I periodically check Japanese auction sites for him, but I've never seen one for sale. Once or twice I've seen the little one by himself, but without the big guy it's just not as cool.

(If anyone knows where I can get one...)

My grail had two halves:

Behemoths have always been my favorite toy growing up and these are the two rarest ones I know of. I want as many colors as possible. MIMP fever is strong in me...

For me, it's the FOA Sciroids. I have none... And I think they are some of the best looking figures from the line, specifically this guy, and the Regenerator Sciroid variant.

I'll probably never SEE one in person, let along own one, with how batshit insane the market has gotten.

Oh...
YES!
My holy grail was from an 80s toyline The Saga of Crystar.
I remember seeing warbow moc in a Kmart back when I was much younger.
I was on the fence about buying him at the time and ended up leaving him behind.

Fast forward years later, I tracked down many crystar items but warbow moc always eluded me. Haunting me.

Until I found him unsold and waiting on an obscure fan site.
file_2_90.jpg

I love him because he is a clear action figure(always weak for clear/GID toys) and because he looks like he is made of faceted crystal glass.
The badass bandolier and crossbow with an eyepatch definitely helps. In a Daryl Dixion sort of respect...

My Man-E-Faces keshi

I grew up loving motu like most guys my age and Man-E-Faces was one of my first figures I ever got, trading a friend in kindergarten a Gi Joe Duke for him.
