Shoot, just checked my little Godzilla, and it's the same set as yours is from. Not glow, but color changing, go put him under hot water if I remember right.

correct! I dunked the bugger in hot water and he turned a weird pinkish orange. Even after learning this about NF figures I never think to check for thermal sensitivity. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be Little Godzilla or just some sort of SD version so thanks everyone for the ID and info.

Oh, and I caved and went back to pick up that last KO transformer thing, was only a few bucks after all. After looking at it closer (especially the face) it looks like it's probably a Gundam? goldan-1.jpg

I like how it comes carded in robot form, but the instructions only show you how to transform it from the dragon to the robot ;)

All of the fun about transformers is transforming without instructions. Don't be a sissy!

haha that's so true. I still have my G1 Snapdragon from when I was a kid, but didn't realized until like last year that I was never doing his dragon transformation correctly.

Nope, not Gundam at all. That's a KO of Goldran, from the titular Brave series and made by Takara (same as Transformers). The series even makes use of sentient robots unlike most depictions of heroic giant mecha in Japan besides Transformers.

Meh! I've never found enjoyment of the transformation requires mystery of it at the same time. Any time I transform something from the first time, it's with instructions. Also helps to avoid breakage from not knowing how some figures works.

This greatly surprises me.

I won't lie, I used the instructions a tiny bit when I recently got the UT Troll figure. I didn't want to break a $100 figure that, to my knowledge, has no product guarantee/warranty.

Other than that? Balls deep.

wow that's nuts! I could have sworn from the face that it was Gundam, he even has the telltale little red tongue-looking part below the mouth!

I didn't even know this series existed, so yet again thank you!

An awesome little package made it across the pond from Eric this morning. My first deka - great size and weight to it. Another Announcer (a freebie) to add to my growing collection, and then there's El Kaiju - absolutely phenomenal sculpt and cast.

Not sure about froggy, he just happened to go along with the Cromy. I put him on my bookshelf.

The Cromy Orange translucent guys are really awesome. And the Two Headed Dragon is probably my favorite Cromy.

Stuff from Japan, and thus a month ago:

Mekurabe.png

Mekurabe, the Skull Staring Contest.  An apparition used to frighten an elderly warlord by reminding him of the peopel he had killed.  it didn't work, and he just stared back until the skulls vanished.

Kasa-Obake.png

Kasa-Obake, the extremely famous umbrella ghost!

BetoBeto-San.png

BetoBeto-San, an invisible Yokai only identifiable by the sounds of its footstps.  It may or may not be the mascot of A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Kalavinka.png

And finally, Kalavinka, a holy Buddhist creature.
