Yeah, we were going over this in the Hogan fired thread.
Piper was my first role model, man. I know everybody has a story, but mine starts as half an orphan being passed around from family member to family member. Piper was my guy, he was the man, and it all started and stopped with him. He was everything, man, and when he was in They Live, I couldn't have been happier.
I'm positively heartbroken over this, man.

61?! Damn. I really enjoyed him in They Live. The fight scene with Keith David is a favorite. I hope his friends and family members can find some peace.
Sorry to hear, Iron. Sounds like he might have served as a surrogate father to you in some ways, very tragic loss.
I'd like to leave this here in memoriam:
(explicit language)
Welcomed currency: Rubber Uglies, rubber monsters, jigglers, vinyl monsters, Arco monsters, Imperial monsters, fish cans....

They Live is one of my all time favorite movies, I'll always remember him for that as well.

Sucks.
Big-time.
Also, don't forget "Hell in Frogtown".

One of the greats on several fronts. Rest in peace. They Live & Frog Comes to Helltown were great.

He was one of my favorites and one of the absolute best at connecting with the crowd. Piper was probably the first heel, or bad guy as I would've called him as a kid, that gave me pause. I knew he was bad but I couldn't help but like him because he did eveything with a certain attitude; he was just cool. He had his personal demons but also possessed a redemptive streak a mile wide; and he never lost that trademark smirk. Godspeed, Hot Rod.
