For those of you following the show - which has btw improved leaps and bounds over the 1st season - can we all agree that this is going FIRMLY into Inhumans territory? 

 

What are your guys thoughts/ theories on this?

 

Personally I think that this will set the stage for more super powered heroes and bad guys in the Marvel CU.  Just like the closing credits scene at the end of Cap 2 where Baron Von Strucker states that this is the "Age of Miracles" while gazing at an imprisoned Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver... I think that the Inhuman phenom will be a catalyst for more characters like Guido and Wanda.  Thoughts?

I don't think we'll see any A lister characters, simply because of the budget for a TV series vs a movie.

Definitely a cool show though.

I think they are going to introduce the concept of the Inhumans as a way to introduce more super powered beings into the MCU.  SInce Fox owns the rights to the word Mutants and the MCU can't use the word Mutant - then they can flesh out the MCU with "inhumans" as opposed to mutants.  We will see... if I'm right, then this can set the stage long term for the Inhumans movie in 2018.
