Friends, you've seen similar versions of figures?

They suddenly appeared in Russia. The guy who sells them claims that they are from Europe.
Hard plastic material.

This new copies of them and makes him someone to order.

Perhaps this master is on this forum? If so, we would like to have more information.

The photographs can be seen that a very high-quality copies. And it is believed that they are made on steel molds.

Interesting, these are totally new to me, and yes Greeks (and I guess we also now have to include the recent Indonesians) are rubber, and obviously Mexican bootlegs are ruled out because these aren't in the "one arm up" pose and look to be much better quality. Are the arms articulated or are they stuck in place like the MBBs? And did I understand correctly that the seller is saying these are newly produced bootlegs?

If you could find where specifically in Europe they are from, that might help, but as far as I know no one here is producing these or I'd probably know about it.

Nice find though man, we need to merge these communities somehow! :D

Hands moving.
Yes, it's brand new figurines.

There is a suspicion that the guy who sells them disingenuous  :D
Somehow I think (I could be wrong), that man, who made them, it is on LRG  :D

So maybe they are recasts? Just tossing the idea out there. If it is bootlegs... that would be amazing beyond belief :p

These are mostly the same sculpts as the metal BB figures currently on ebay. Looks like someone got molds made and has started pumping out new knock offs. Really doubt these or the metal figures are vintage.

Same guy who created these metal BB that showed up recently by accident!?

Considering the fact these are from Europe but there is an unlogic/unexplainable mixture of Serie 1, 2 and even 3 figures in it I would be pretty surprised if these turn out the be original vintage bootlegs. I feel like there might be a direct relation or at least a link to the guy who recently posted those metal figures especially looking at the imho not very obvious used figures like for instance the Antilope. Have some serious doubts here so unless there´s a decent background story I think it is save to say these are pretty fresh home made custom BB.....

Let´s not forget that unknown items still show up as well in the original BB as the bootleg scene but its not a very common thing and especially when it comes down to bootlegs we should be very careful because these can also become a vague area of discussion the similar way unmarked reproductions are causing problems among the original stuff.

(Looks like my friend above had the same thoughts ;) )

Just throwing this out there, but I see a lot of  debating regarding whether or not these are vintage bootlegs, but I don't think that was ever being suggested.

The title even says "New bootleg"  ;)

As long as its a bootleg made by a company and not a single guy and is released on the market, who are we to judge? lol I would prefer new toys anyway. Crispy crispness.

There´s nothing wrong with NEW bootlegs being produced as its only something we can support but I hope its also clear that for the sake of history it is important there´s some sort of a division between vintage bootlegs (produced during or closely after the original release date of the original BB) and figures that are newly made years after. On some levels the exact stories of even the original items are already a big mesh to get clarified so in case we might ever get into discussing the bootlegs within the BA project the least thing people who create or mention these is to include a certain production date or their origin since this gives a bit more clarity and can avoid useless discussions about being vintage bootlegs or not.

Of course the topic title can be explained in several ways so that´s why my first reply above was directly pointing on the vintage weight of these bootlegs.

Completely understandable from a historian point of view. The only problem here is finding the country of origin, the time frame and if these are factory made or home made. If it is factory made, what toy country did them? Etc etc.

I'm not thrilled with those. TGB still is cool and up front as "custom" with clear, glow, and such, but these are kinda blah. I really hope they don't get passed off for GBB or mexican bootlegs. There is enough noise out there as is! Just my 2 cents.

PS these are not TGB figures from what I can tell, and knowing how kewl Marty is.
