They are the 80s perfect toy! Robots, mini figure, and in neon colors. They just look awesome.
I find these loose every now and again...some of the robots are bigger painted versions of Arco's Roguns little plastic robot toy soldier type figures.

This is one item I have had my eyes on for many years. I sold off much of my childhood collection at various garage sales through the years but held onto most of my Bionic 6 stuff. This is a cool base/headquarters and would be the highlight of that collection.

The genius of Lego. I never knew about these. Surprised I have not found one randomly at a thrift store. I bet I will now. Haha. Since Bionicle has been rebooted, maybe they will return. What do you think? Here is a pic of someone who collected them all (more or less).
