I was bidding on a series 3 for days. Had the highest bid set for $120 from day one. I got a little nervous when someone set a bid at $70 so I doubled it to $140 just to be safe. Then someone bid $142.50 at the last second................. really? *le sigh. 

 

Stupid series 3 mimps.

Yeah. I think I am just going to go after those buy it now series 3 lots. Don't want to spend that kind of money but its better than what happen to me just now. Wish I could figure out who it was lol

Unlucky bud, but the orange Herne and orange Ganesha would've also contributed to the lot going up in price and being extra desirable. Like you say, sometimes if you really want something you might as well just hit the BIN option.

That is an absurd price even considering what was in the lot.

$50 for the Series 3. $25 for the Ganesha. $5 for the Herne. 50 cents for the others. Buyer overpaid by at least $50 IMO. Just be patient and you ought to be able to get everything in that lot for less.

I agree with all of you. I did a bin for a series 3 and I am determined to under shoot mark for as much as possible lol

I need a few series 3 myself but I can't afford the insane prices. Plus I'm in the UK and a lot of people won't ship abroad or insist on hugely overcharging on the shipping.

Yeah. I was pretty happy. Then I see that goober Mark (the ebay reseller) noticed them (his ebay thing is e***8 and his feedback is exactly the same) and he bidded and lots of other ppl started to bid and... yeah. Well I gues I should be glad I didn't pay $142.50 for it but I wanted him lol

I mainly bid and set the max of what I am willing to pay. Usually its the same dingle berries that rack it up.

Hahahaha its cool. I am going to try and not bid on series 3 mimps. Its crazy I tell you! I will just focus on bins instead. The prices seem to go over the value mark when bids are options so you are safe from now on lol

I missed the only lot that had a Series 3 I needed recently. I have mostly been buying overseas stuff recently, like Argentina and some Sonrics.

Well you have gotten to the point where almost everything is complete luckily the argens and mexico mimps are all over the place lol

I still need a few pieces from the US/UK sets. But not many. The rarer Sonrics rarely see the market unfortunately for me (but fortunate for my bank account).

Mmm, that belief is what made me the only bidder on a Fistful of Power lot with Xar and Cutter in it that the seller ended early and sold to me for 8 quid.

Some of those watchers are could be  sellers themselves that have the  same or similar items.  And they're looking to see what the market is like before they post their items fro sale. But with 23 watchers and not one bite...that's gotta be disappointing.
