looks like the 12 inch one I had as a kid that was official. Even has the dog tags. does his face have a scar on the cheek and black hair under his mask? he might be legit

The question is, which movie is it for? Or is it blank?

 

It's just the outer case that a VHS cassette would be stored in.   Any original labeling is gone except you can see Technimark in the plastic and there might be what used to be a Blockbuster Video logo that's really scratched out.

I stumbled across this imposter while browsing up on knock-off figures that I had customized/mutilated as a kid.

 

Upon doing some further research, the clothes, mask, & dog tags appear to be legit, but the figure is not the original Hasbro. He is made by "In Time Products," a company that was known for copycatting various toylines, including 12" Joes in the 90's.

I recieved the custom MoaiMan sculpts I comissioned today...One of them is clear resin with UV reactive dye in the head. The other is a clear one too, but with sparkly glitter in it. The pics I took really doesn't show it though. But it is excellent work and I love them
