Found this piece loose in a box of GI Joe (Real American Hero) 3.75 inch toys from the 1980s. This piece did not fit any of the toys. There are no markings or date on the piece, but it's very detailed. Anyone know if it belongs to anything GI Joe or another toy line?

Looks like a cowling around a jet engine intake.

The best G.I. Joe website: yojoe.com (check the G.I. Joe Database >>> Toys >>> 3-3/4" Vehicles).

Yojoe has a section called whobit where you can search by color and type to identify accessories. I remember years ago there was talk of doing that for vehicle parts. I don't know if it ever happened.

Something about this part makes me think it is not GI Joe. But that's just a gut reaction.
